Just to try 10-52

I usually play with 10-46 strings and bought these strings to try higher gauge for the three bottom strings. This set was among the cheapest. Having tried on my Les Paul Tribute, it does its job with a nice sound that lasts long enough.

Surprisingly good

I've been experimenting with strings for a while now. For years I've mostly been a fan of GHS Boomers because they always felt like a nice middle ground between Ernie Ball's and D'addario's. These were actually more of a curiosity buy just because they were so cheap and because of that my expectations were a little low. What a surprise these were! They feel stiffer than the Boomers (but still slinkier than the D'addario's) and that took some getting used to but as a trade off my guitar holds tuning a lot better. The clarity and brightness is what surprised me the most, and with a wipe down after playing the life has been pretty impressive as well. I've gone from being sceptical to completely sold on them, no more messing about jumping between brands. These are my new go to strings. At this price they're worth at least trying out and you really can't go wrong.

Durable and good sounding

I use them for drop #C tuning. I gotta say, that it sounds awesome and they never brake even tho I hit my guitar like a maniac on the stage.

My new strings

Very high-quality strings. To use them for the first time, but very satisfied. My guitar sings like never before.

Great /Strings at a low price

For me the best value for the money.

They are much better than the Harley Benton ones and not much more expensive, the custom gauge is great.

The sound is perfect, bright.

Nice

Feels nice to play, sound great and have a very interesting price point. My high E-string did snap though but that was probably because of me. Nice LTHB strings for the price.

Quality strings

Well known brand and very well made strings. I use these to record at home to make sure I get the best sound and sustain. I am very satisfied with these strings and will certainly order more.

Best quality/price ratio you'll find

I'm using Dean Markley strings on all of my guitars from standard E to drop B tuning and they are doing their job perfectly.

Although finding strings that match your desired tone and feel is always a matter of personal taste, these strings to me not only sound and feel better than Ernie Balls or D'Addarios, they are also less expensive.

Never had any tuning problems with them either, no matter if on a fixed bridge or on Floyd Rose guitars.

Dean Markley 2504B LTHB

I've been using Dean Markley strings ever since I started playing guitar. I've never played better strings. They are reliable and sound great and last very long. They are pretty cheap so I change them about every month or so. They stay in tune and you can shred the f**k out of them without worrying that they snap.
