Decent strings for the price

I was looking forward to getting a thicker set of strings for my 7 string guitar and these appeared to be a good choice, as this 10-60 gauge produces a great bright sound.

Noice

Have them on my 25.5" scale 7 string tuned to B Standard.

Strings are nice and bright, had them on a few weeks and still have quite a bit of life left to them but the sound has dulled somewhat.

Nice tension from the high e to the low B, would certainly recommend standard scale 7 strings.

Nice 7 string set

I bought this set to use on my Jackson SLAT 7 string guitar. I down tuned the guitar to A. The tension is ok but slightly less than my liking. What I didnt like about this set is the packing. The pack was open because they just put one extra string to the 6 string set. Its my 2 week with the strings on. I almost play one hour a day and I clean them with Dunlop string conditioner everyday but the strings start corroding but the sound is still good. It seems like maximum usage is one month which is not bad. The sound is good and I can recomend this set who wants to down tune their 7 string guitars...

Ok for low price strings. What I didn't like was the packaging, since the strings were not packed individually, as many other brands do. They are somewhat color coded though, but it's seems like an unnecessary hassle.

Great for downtuned 7 strings

I bought these specifically to play down tuned metal, and they do a great job of that. The 7th string .60 holds its tuning on my 25.5 scale guitar even when picking aggressively whilst tuned all the way down to A. String tension and bending was still comfortable on the first, second and third strings. In standard B 7 string tuning, the .60 was a bit too much for my fingers to play comfortably, but that's not why I bought them. The .60 string is very large obviously, I barely managed to feed it through the locking machine heads of my guitar. I haven't had any unusual problems with these strings breaking or corroding, Dean Markley are as good as any of the other top string manufacturers.

good strings

I like these strings. they work well. they don't feel cheap, they sound good. They may or may not be your favorite type of strings, but good quality strings, thats for sure.

Well done 7-Strings set

The Dean Markley 2504C LTHB are well done 7 strings.

I play them now for about 4 weeks on my Jackson Dinky 7 string guitar and they still got fresh and brilliance tone.

I use them for Drop A tuning, works also with 1 step deeper tunings like G or else.

Highly recommend for Metal/Hard music

Good set of strings

These are a good set of strings, perfect for all styles of playing, good quality and a decent price too, defiantly worth consideration for anyone looking to try out a different set of strings from their norm. Delivery and customer service was top notch as usual!
