Great mute

If you are looking for a good harmon/wah wah mute this is your best choice i would recomend this to the trompet player who wants a good quality mute at a good price as with most products from Dennis Wick

it's an excellent trumpet mute. The response and sound are really good.

Great damper!

Works great as a damper and gives a lot of dynamic range to trumpet players. The only issue I had is with the moving piece at the center to change the damping; it slides out freely after about 2 months of use. I may need to do a small modification to make it stay but otherwise fantastic product.

Excellent mute, classic sound

Great sounding mute for a good price, nice and sturdy too. Not much more to say about it than that.

The best Trumpet wah wah mute, i have used so far, just buy it and enjoy the wah wah melody.

Old School mute

This is only my second Wah-Wah also from Denis Wick. I wouldn't buy any other Wah-Wah. I've been playing since 1961.

The classic Miles Davis sound..

I love this mute, maybe because I am a huge Miles Davis fan. In any case, if you find that you need a wah wah mute for a particular show/ensemble I would recommend this one. The sound is just magnificent, with much more character than other brands of this style of mute. The response is great across all registers (still resonates on low F#) and the intonation is superb. I do find that I need to pull out my tuning slide a few centimeters, but that is to be expected. I also shaved back the corks so that it would sit more snugly in the bell, but that is just a personal preference. A really great classic wah sound with lots of character and great fun to play!
