DOD Fuzz

Naar mij mening één van de beste fuzz pedaals op de markt! Enorm veelzijdige pedaal en ziet er als een boutique pedaal uit!

Fine effect

I dont have much experience to compare it to other fuzz pedals, but as what I saw it's fine and have some versatility.

Amazing fuzz pedal. I love it.

A lot of fuzzes

It'a a very sturdy and well built pedal.

It has became my main fuzz: flexible and a lot of voices in it. Controls are effective from one end to the other. Very quiet too.

No cons to me.

Great for bass as well.

I had seen that some bass players use it on their boards and it seemed to be a great addition. I had a chance to test it and really liked the sound. It was really easy to navigate the controls and it was well-built. I ordered it to have a secondary fuzz and was amazed at the versatility as well as how it reacts with other pedals. Overall great pedal. I recommend that everyone who has a chance to try it out, do so.

Believe the hype!

Simply an outstanding fuzz pedal, ticks all my boxes and sounds glorious, full, meaty on both guitar and bass. Need some taming with EQ but overall, hands-down the best fuzz I have ever played.

Using it in front of a clean tube amp, singles, P90s and HBs. Ends my long search for a satisfying fuzz, easily displaces my other distortion and OD pedals due to its wide range of tones. Responds nicely to guitar volume.

In short, it kicks a$$ and is excellent value. Do not pass this one up!

Really good and interesting fuzz for a modest price

I put it in front of other distortion pedals to get some new interesting tones. It became one of my most usable pedals. Really good fuzz pedal, and it’s only a bonus that it’s affordable comparing to many other fuzzes.

Αmazing

It's a great versatile pedal that can do crazy fuzz sounds, but can be setup completely differently and make distortion sounds (recto especially), overdrive, light breakup, can be used as a clean -or not so clean- boost as well, all of these sounds are really good too.

Soundwise as a fuzz, it's the exact opposite of a big muff, so if you 're looking for the "smashing pumpkins" sound, this is totally wrong for it. It's great for the stoner genre or old school rock'n'roll.

Another plus is the very nice design, and the switch is very smooth and nice to press on!

Highly recommended!

Excellent fuzz pedal for low end distortion. Can go from low gain all the way through to really broken. Exactly what I was looking for,

Diverse Fuzz Pedal

Very versatile fuzz sounds at a very affordable price.

This pedal really gets that modern insane fuzz sound, and can be tapered back to more conservative sounds.

The controls can however be a little confusing and it takes some time to get used to dialing in sounds.

Plays well with other pedals. I have tried this all over the chain and had no issues pairing with wah or buffers.

Good pedal

I admit, I had very high expectations for this one after reading all the positive reviews. However, it is often described as being incredibly versatile for different tones, but my initial impression is that this is not entirely correct. It gets a little out of control at the higher gain settings and I am struggling a bit getting a useful lower gain tones. That said, I bought it for getting somewhere near a kyuss/early qotsa tone which it manages quite easily, especially kyuss tones, -even though my guitar and amp is not ideal for this. Lastly I would add that this pedal has its very own character, which is great!

Killer Fuzz

In general I have a very good experience with Digitech and their products, it was a no brainer to get one. It sounds really nice especially if you have a TS style pedal in front of it, very versatile tones, a must have.

Fuzz for the fuzz haters

I don't use much fuzz because I don't know how to use it properly. I ordered the product because it just looks great. For my surprise the pedal is really awesome

Works well with bass and guitar. Has huge range of sounds. It is dead quiet. Unbelievably good find!

Very cool fuzz

Very versatile, I used with a octave for Rival Sons covers. Does the job very well considering the price.

Unbeatable for the price and tone

Really, really like this one, can go velcro when needed, reacts differently when pushed, easy to influence with volume knob on guitar. It acts nicely with my Quilter 202, in front and in send/return loop, especially there I can use gain and limiter knobs of the amp to influence the rip and stutter, combined with way I hit the strings. This thing will give you screeching highs and grumbling lows ones you get a feel for the settings. I've encountered the hiss I've seen reported by others at certain settings only when it was in front of the amp, but have not yet tested it with other drive pedals in the chain. I tested it with my tele with texas style single coil pick-ups and my j mascis squire jazzmaster (with hotter pickups than the standard Jazzmaster) and both gave great tones. The single notes are distinct and not swamped or muddy, even at higher distorted levels. If you are not looking for a specific tone, but are willing to invest some time to discover what tones are in here to inspire, for this price I feel it's worth it. Only been playing for a few hours straight after I got it this afternoon, but this feels like the best one I bought in a while..

Finally what I was looking for

After three or more drives and bunch of fuzz pedals, this one does what I expected from a fuzz pedal.

It can be fuzzy on two ways - kinda modern and old school Jack White sound like.

Also what is important to me, is that it can be used with just a small amount of fuzz, not like most of fuzz pedals with blend, but hard fuzz all the time and bled just put it in a background. With this one, fuzz can be ''In Your face'' but light one, not to heavy.

Great look to.

In a combination with Big Muff Russian Pi, and Darkglass Vintage ultra V2, it covers all of my needs on a bass guitar.

Definitely keeper!

Excellent and flexible fuzz

Read and listened to a lot of reviews and decided to buy this one - and no regrets! Since this is my first fuzz, I cannot compare it with other fuzz pedals.

I wanted a fuzz that is not very extreme, something that goes more in the territory of overdrive and distortion. And this is definitely it. Although you can get crazy fuzz sounds as well, because it is really flexible, for me it shines when it is in a more moderate fuzz level. You can set it so that it sounds almost like an overdrive and what I really like is that it cleans up very nicely with volume knob on guitar (if needed).

PROs:

- great sounds

- lots of flexibility in finding the sound you like/need

- cleans up greatly with volume knob

- very attractive in terms of case looks/design

CONs

- none really

Definitely a fuzz to keep and recommend
