Easy to use and sounds so cool. Very cool for ambient tones to

Every guitar player needs one of these

I have 2 and these are excellent.

You can use them to give an eBow like sound or just when you need a note to sustain and feed.

Very easy to use and be creative with on the fly.

Sustain

Sustain can just die on you after so long so you have to be careful but overall a decent pedal.

Amazing pedal

Amazing pedal. Does the feedback-thingy right on.

This pedal is able to replace the sustainer sensor and the bow. Cool stuff

Harmonics and feedback

The harmonics and feedback this pedal adds is unlike anything else out there. The controls let you dial in how much it adds, how quickly it comes in, and the interval. Easy to use and most settings are good.

I love it

I absolutely love it. I used it to create noise-music, and i regularely use it to make my digital setup to sound somewhat more analog. Because amps usually have feedback, and digital amps dont. Its a nice feeling if you are used to amps that make feedback... and it sound so natural and musical. Love it

Great addition to line6 helix

Needed this one to create some feedback as helix is not really capable of that in a studio environment. Super happy about it.

Insta convincing feedback from a silent rig

My rig is fully direct and I was missing the ability to get musical feedback any more until I doscovered this.

sounds great, is it real feedback? Of course not.

But does it sound like it in a full mix, why yes it does.

And that's what reallt matters.

If you are missing feedback from your modeller or similar setup (mine is a tube preamp into a CAB) you will LOVE having feedback on tap again.

Bonus feature: ever notice how sometime at a gig the freedback never really quite comes? This is more reliable, stomp the button and there it is at whatever octave you set it to.

Heavenly.

Does what it’s meant to

But I couldn’t gel with it. It’s good and well made but it’s not real feedback so is kinda “meh” in terms of what it does

A jewel on my pedal board

It would appear I get paid for these reviews because they are always positive - I don't - I just do not give feedback for anything I think does not deserve it. This pedal doesn't take long to get use to - I watched a few 'you tube' videos and the learning curve is easy - Well worth the money just for it's ability to prolong the sustain 10 / 10

Nice add-on, but...

Good build quality, intuitive handling and features. I also like the sound of it. But beware: the biggest minus of this is the sudden cut off of the signal. This is also mentioned in some previous comments. You play a pitch, the feedback is nice, slowly (you can adjust the speed) increasing - just like you are close to an amplifier, it is nicely graduating...and...and sudden cut. Like if the power got cut off. It looks weird, sounds weird, during a show one might say that you did something very wrong, something unwanted happened. It would be great if the cut off is descending the same way as it is ascending. This way, you are not able to 100% predict its behavior - will it ring or will it stop now? Maybe it can be practiced (or as I do - I just don't wait too long...), but in any case, there is this 'sudden death' of a signal.

Very Useful In The Studio

I recently used this pedal in front of a Boss GT-1 mini-board to record a couple of tracks in a home studio. Both needed a little more "sustain" than my playing style provides. The first was Bowie's Heroes which needs a wailing guitar with even sustain/feedback throughout. The pedal coped, especially with the bend sections. The second track was AC/DC's It's A Long Way To The Top which as you will know contains bagpipes. Again this requires sustained notes, but of a different sort. And, no, this pedal will not make your guitar sound like a set of bagpipes but it will provide the long drones required to build a representative sound. Simply put, very useful in the studio. The results are impressive and I would think that I'll be making use of this pedal again.

Fun effect

Not a necessary effect but it is fun to use.

Pedal is very good quality and it looks really nice imo.

my favorite pedal

I was dreaming for a long time of something like this but using the freqout was something way more satisfying than I expected. The tracking is perfect when i use finger vibrato or the tremolo bar and you can get some fantastic tones (whale sounds) when switching the dry to off. if you experiment with other pedals you can get to some not of this earth sounds. the coolest part is that it works without any distortion, overdrive or high gain which are all cool but i don't use at all anyway.

This thing is a heckofalot of fun

I got this because I live in an apartment and I can't play loud enough to get the kind of feedback that I always wanted. The FreqOut solves that problem. Not only can you dictate what kind of feedback you can get, but you can also go into the "Natural" modes and allow the feedback to generate randomly.

I was disappointed that you couldn't hold the feeback forever (it cuts off after 5-6 seconds) but it's still a great way to get your guitar to scream as you make funny faces.

Feedback in IEM without amp? Oh, yeah! :-)

Our band went from wedges to IEM recently for monitoring, so we have a quiet stage - a dream for FOH engineers. But I missed feedback in my solos, so I bought this pedal to pair with my Helix LT. I use it in FX loop, first in the chain, flawlessly. It taught me that my vibrato needs improvement – but with a good one you really can get neverending feedback.

Pros: you can get tasty feedback even when using IEM.

Cons: I wish it was MIDI-compatible for controlling from Helix LT. But in this case the price would not be this, I suppose.

All in all, my best buying since I purchased my Helix LT.

Unique and loads of fun

This a dangerous pedal. It's so hard not to over use when you first get it. Adding that sweet octave feedback to the final note of every solo is somewhat addictive.

Great fun to use and loads of options for the type of feedback, and the rate of it's onset.

I've tried it in latched mode in a loop on a pedal tray, and that worked O.K, but it's best used IMHO in momentary mode on the floor where you've got more control over the onset of the feedback effect.

The effect doesn't quite capture the full effect of a 100w Marshall about to kill you on a stage, but's close enough to be worth a spot on most pedal boards.

Definitely worth a look if you like controllable feedback.
