You want a filter bank

These filter bank modules can add a lot of texture. Even feeding it some white noise and running the output into a reverb is an impressive effect. Lots of knobs allow you to alter the spectrum during a performance. If you don't have a filter bank, I recommend you consider getting one. Go online and hear what you can do with it. And see if that fits in with the music you want to make. The Doepfer one is a very good sounding one, with a musical range. There are lots of others though, mostly at a higher price. It loses some starts for the lack of modulation inputs and the lack of taps on the filter outputs. The knobs are great and feel solid. And the face palte is of the great quality we expect from Doepfer.

Very well built, as usual with Doepfer. It is useful as an EQ or a filter to shape your sound. It's fun and open new possibilities in sound design.
