Sequential Prophet Rev2-8 Expander Kit
Based on 6 reviews
Once I figured 8 voices was not enough, I've ordered this expansion board. It came with instructions that were easy to follow. No soldering needed, just open the synth, fit some standoffs, then push the board in place, close the synth, turn it on -- 16 voice.
Doepfer Pocket Electronics
Based on 3 reviews
I build t a custom MIDI controller with some joystick pots and this little kit was essential and the perfect thing. I'm no engineer but it was really simple to work with, the instruction manual made sense and it has been working perfectly. Nothing else on the market like it. My DAW sees it as a simple MIDI input device for CC entry. All good! Highly recommended.
Teenage Engineering Line Module ZM-4
Based on 3 reviews
Adding this module opens up a world of discovery for the OP-Z. I've since acquired quite a collection of guitar pedals to go with it! It's also really handy for midi, making it much quicker and easier to connect your OP-Z to multiple devices -- e.g. in my case, a Launchpad and/or Digitone.
Waldorf Ram Card
Based on 3 reviews
I was looking for a simple memory card for my Q rack, and I have ordered 2 of these. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they come pre-loaded with a full library of highly usable patches, sequences and drum maps and in a protective case of their own. Works perfectly as it should, slot it in and when you power up a new X library will be available on your Q with all of the sounds. So yeah, highly recommended product for storing your extra patches and having them on the go if you are like me and don't like transferring to the computer and back. Plus I find it very inspiring to simply sit with the instrument, create patches and store them on the card, which even has a label field, so that you can label it. All in all, I'm super happy with the purchase and I highly recommend it to Q users.
Teenage Engineering Rumble Module
Based on 1 reviews
As everyone I know, I could not even understand and think what the Rumble Module could really do for the Z. Apparently, this little magic module gives life to the OP-Z and makes it somehow more usable. It does not shake the desk or anything but only vibrates internally, strong enough for understanding the beat and base as well as the tempo. I can not say it is vital to have it but once you have it, it is really hard to not use it. If you have some spare cash, do get it and you will not regret it!
Teenage Engineering OPlab Module
Based on 4 reviews
Finally a module that links the OP-Z with the my eurorack. connecting it is the easiest thing and it's plug and play so getting it working is as easy as can be. would defo recommend to anyone who owns an OP-Z and wants to connect it to other hardware
Viscount Legend `70s Acoustic Piano Mod
Based on 2 reviews
I love my Legend 70's Artist-W and think the E. Piano module is wonderful and the sound collection has a lot of good useable sounds. I bought this based on the reviews here and have to disagree. These are very digital sounding and not convincing piano samples. For the price, I would suggest looking at much more convincing software for half the cost and use the wonderful action of the wood keys as a controller. Very disappointed with this purchase and considering trying to sell this module. The only good thing about this module is the convenience of not needing to connect to a computer when you want to practice piano (although there are some samples in the sound collection too). This module will be used for practice use only for me and is expensive for that purpose. I don't play live so...
Waldorf Nano Synth für CME UF Keyboard
Based on 5 reviews
I bought this card to use it by CME keyboard. the quality was very good sounds are excellent it was very easy to install. If you want to turn your midi controller keyboard into a real cool synthesiser then this can't be beat the price. One thing to note is that there are no controls is literally a card that fits inside the keyboard. to access any of the sounds you need to use your host daw to send program changes etc to the card. He also receives a full range of continuous controller messages, the sound of a Waldorf seen inside your mini controller keyboard how cool is that. Highly recommended products and would buy again.
CME UF DP-1
Based on 2 reviews
This board is a Waldorf Rompler, I used this together with the Waldorf Nano in my CME UF7, but I didn't really like the sounds to much. It had a couple of decent piano sounds, but overall they were a bit to bright, and others very flat. It didn't give a realistic enough piano sound for me to use in a serious context, I would only use it for simple practice here and there, but honestly I would rather have spent the money on an actual synthesizer or software piano even. It's maybe a bit better sounding than pianos that you would find in an average synthesizer, but the price of this and Waldorf Nano together doesn't do justice for what sounds you get. Consider a desktop synthesizer to put on the CME instead, like Waldorf Blofeld, which is the same brand with a lot more to offer, also a...
