Cannot be beaten

Tried many SS strings in direct comparison, eg four 'E' strings on one bass to listen . These are balanced ,tight and focussed , all muscle ,no flab.

Awesome strings

Been using these strings forever on my CIJ Fender Jazz Bass '75 Reissue upgraded with Lindy Fralin singles for a deep or punchy midrange-heavy tones for almost any genre from post-rock to pop/soul to progressive metal. Love these strings <3

Smooth and Balanced

I got those strings to even out my midrange-heavy rosewood P-bass with an SPB-4 pickup.

The tension is on the high side, which suits an aggressive playing style, although the dynamics are great on those.

I liked the smooth feeling of the string, they won't wear down your frets like certain s.steel strings do, so those who avoid stainless for that reason(including me) , fear not!

Lots of low end and beautiful detailed highs, not harsh at all. Slapping or picking sounds very balanced, almost like using a compressor. The also age very well and don't go dead.

I wish DR came out with a 'balanced tension' set like D'addario, but for the rest this is a top string. Highly recommended

Great strings

Great strings with a fantastic tone to them. Very great playabilty and a nice long life to them. They are my main strings for one of my 4 strings and I would recommend them for everyone.
