Look great

Bought it to contrast on a maple neck.

Looked great, but unfortunately not for long, the coating on the single wire strings has started to peel despite not being played that much.

Colour coating

My only issue is with the colour coating, since it scrapes off easily.

Don't buy them for the colour, buy them for the quality, resistance and feel, because, since these are 9 gauge, they don't take up a lot of resilience in your fretting hand, and, being a begginer, that's something I appreciate.

DR Black beauties

I bought these after using another coated string on my acoustics. The black coating looks really cool on my black prs and they seem to hold the tone so much better than the standard strings I was using before. The coating also makes them feel really nice and new as well as keeping the zippy "new" tone.

Very happy with them and highly recomended!

Black on white!

I bought these for an all white strat. It looked so cool!! However, they sounded too bright. Put them on an Les Paul instead and they gave the Les Paul a more distinct sound. Just what that guitar needed!

In conclusion, for some reason, they sounded better on a 24,75 scale.
