Great for Show, but...

If you want strings that look cool, these are the ones you want to buy. If you want strings that last a long time and keep their sound for more than a week or two, look elsewhere.

bright and wonderful

These are just as you guessed, green and neon!

Iv been using these strings for well over 2 years now and they are great for a few reasons.

Lets forget the great feature that they are coloured, but the coating on these strings means they last for a long time without getting dirty or grubby.

The tone is also great, they may not have so much 'twang' to them as other new strings, but that wasnt what i was after.

Smooth sounding strings is what these offer. O and BRIGHT GREEN GLOW in most lights. (even more with white or blue LED lights)

Neat

These sound good despite the coating, and they look flashy. I wouldn't get them again though, because the flashy look isn't really for me. But if that's your thing, then go for it.

Fun, but don't last.

They sound fantastic for a few days and then go completely dead. If you slide fast they also burn your fingers! Look amazing under lights and are fine for gigging but I would recommend a fresh pair for every show.

Great strings

These sound awesome, have a long life, and look great too. The coating makes them easy to move around on and does stop them from degrading as much as standard strings. They do cost a bit more than usual strings, but its definitely worth it

Great optic, but limitations on sound

First of all , I bought these strings only because of the bright color. I love the green and it shows on my black bass very well !

What based on the color is really awesome that they are UV-active and with black light shine literally in the dark!

The color holds well, even if you play with a pick. At the frets went after about 2 weeks the color on the bottom off , but you'd never see. Also the surface of the strings was brighter. Maybe by the sweat of your fingers. It now looks after almost 2 months , which frets to play often .

The sound is fine. The A-string is a bit weak in the deep frets , and I can say here is that it definitely is not on bass, since I do not have the problem with other strings. Maybe it is because of the alloy , the sound is felt somewhat weaker.

The feel is a little strange in the beginning , because the surface is relatively rough . Feels like an old eraser :)

Conclusion: look: awesome! Sound and feel: well!

My next strings would be the DR Lorider.

Neon Green

I purchased these strings on a whim for an old jazz bass. The sound is great, half way between flatwound and roundwound.

At first I was not sure about the feel of the strings but they have grown on me.

These strings have quite a high tension, I usually use daddario EXL170's, but noticed the action was a lot higher with these strings on. However after setting the bass up correctly the strings were great, I would consider using these in future.
