Best string for electric

During my live I was testing a lot of strings. Of course there is personal taste to it, feeling, but I believe DR Pure Blues are best equal sounding strings. Their lifespan is long, they are very responsive. A specially that I play clean/cranch in most cases they sound best in my opinion. If you play hi gain, you won't be disappointed, but it is not perfect application in my case.

Just great

Ive used these for a while, the 10s and the 11s. Sturdy and give great warm balanced tone, Very pleased.

Wonderful strings, they don't need much time to stay in tune after you put them on. Great sound, they don't break often. I've been using them exclusively for years now.

One of the best strings out there

I bought many DR strings and all of them were phenomenal

The sound quality is awesome, they don't go out of tune and they are incredibly easy to bend, even if they are thicker.

I think it's a very good deal for the price that these go.

used on a Telecaster JPN

Excellent sound. Needs of course a bit of playing before loosing their "metalic" sound. The "E" string, I love it for blues!

Love them

DR strings sound very nice and stay fresh for a longer time than any other brand I have tried so far.

great tone and long lasting.

These strings give a unique tone compared to other brands and in my experience have surprising longevity. A set of Ernie ball 11's would last me a week before breaking but these could last a month and i know this from experience. I recommend you get a set and try them outnfor yourselfnsine the tone they give is incredible and like no other strings ive come across.

Fantastic strings!

Great tone off these strings with surprising longevity. Used these after playing ernie ball's and the difference is remarkable, i used to break a string every two weeks but with these ones, a set would last me at least two months if needed them to. I definitely recommend them.

Wonderful Strings

Can't get enough of them. Love the feel of them. Love their tone. And they seem to last longer and stay brighter than any other string I've ever used.

DR Strings Pure Blues PHR-11

I mounted these strings on my G&L S-500 Deluxe, which is a guitar of high dynamic yet compressed sound, and... well, the tension that they delivered on the instrument was much higher then I'd ever expected. Indeed, I spent 3 full days in regulating the guitar bridge/neck position, but the sound was simply beautifully 'fat'! They are what you want if you look for Soundgarden distortion or Stevie Ray Vaughan sound style!
