Solid steel core on 1.25 cm thick aluminium handle
Covered with numerous layers of felt and fleece with one harder and one softer side
Tiny mallet with surprisingly high-impact power
The double-sided design gives it a huge dynamic range - the hard side is ideal for soft tones and provides lots of low end with great articulation and projection, the soft side is great for loud tones and gives even fussy tams an excellent "bloom"
