Great bright colour, good weight and really nice to hold. Iâve used it on my current gongs - 32â and itâs great⦠not yet got the bigger gong this is for, but Iâm sure it wonât disappoint! I love all of the Olli Hess mallets- they are definitely superior to my mind ð
Dragonfly Percussion TamTam Mallet RSXL-A

This mallet will work on most gongs, and because of its size to weight ratio it brings lots of very interesting overtones out of the gongs without compromising on the fundamentals. I love the shorter handle which is also way more comfortable than usual gong mallets. An excellent Mallet especially for gongs between 28" and up to 32"
TTE Konklang Gong rubber 4la

This is relatively smooth compared to the Meinl rubbers, which makes it easier to generate clear tones without judder. Deep-mid tones depending on pressure. Construction feels solid, the handle is strong, and it works on 22', 28" , and 40" gongs with equal ease.

I love this little beauty. It peels off a wonderfully high pitch wail on my gongs. It can be quite shockingly high and loud in a small room so a subtle touch is required.... takes a little practice, but not much. After a lot of use (6 months of using it a few times a week) the head has become a little worn out and so is no longer spherical, but it still works just the same :-) xx
