bad design

Its next to impossible to access the screws that increase the tension on the pedal. There should be a circular hole drilled in the footplate to allow a screw driver access. The footplate becomes so loose its own weight mean it will not keep a set position, rendering the pedal useless.

Does what it says on the tin... for a while

It's a good price for what it is and it is a good feel for those who are used to the Dunlop form factor (with their wah-wah pedals, for example), but one must remember that this pedal uses a physical pot and it will get scratchy and eventually wear out. I've had this for seven years now with light use only occasionally and it's still fine but the previous one I owned did eventually start to act strangely in the latter stages of its life. That said, the aforementioned moving parts that will fail are the weakest link - the pedal is otherwise very tough and I would not hesitate to gig it out if it was early enough in its life. The more you use it, the more it will wear but getting knocked around in transport on the road is not going to be the thing that breaks this pedal, so that's a huge plus.

Most precisely response!

This Dumlop Volume pedal has a lot of valuable aspects.

First of all is that it is a passive pedal witch means that no power supply or battery is needed.

When is necessary to "cut" the sound is very quickly and precisely, everything we need on stage!

I really like it because it is bulky build, very resistant and the body is quite heavy. Also the rubber cover that I step on is very useful when using it because avoids feet slipping.

From all tests I have done for now, I have not find nothing bad about this pedal, it is really what I expected.

I highly recommend this pedal from beginners to professional musicians once it makes the stomp box set complete.

Dunlop Volume Pedal

I recently got bought this pedal for my birthday after wanting one for a while, intending to use it on my first theatre gig. This pedal does exactly what it says on the tin, very simple but effective in use and the best part is it doesn't require any power! This pedal is definitely going to be a standard on my pedalboard from now on and I love it!
