DW 3000 Bass Drum Pedal Reviews
Complete surprise!!
These pedals are true workhorses, love the feel and sturdiness, feels like a naked version of the 5000 or 9000 series, stripped down of all bells and whistles making them tough and a pleasure to play … such a great value!
This pedal will always get the job done smoothly and will never let you down!
Great
Great pedal for it's price range and comes from great manufacturer.
Good Pedal, Fair Price
This is an extremely durable drum pedal for beginners and professionals. Good feel and quality!
For this price range I would definitely recommend this one.
3000 go !
I have about 30 of the 3000 series pedals. Used for international touring, so these babies take a lot of beating. The simple setup and the no-nonsence features make this the most durable product ever, with the 5000 series coming in as a very close second. Unbreakable, durable, simple and above all, has a great feel playing it. 3000 all the way for me.
My first DW pedal
And I'm far from being disappointed.
It is solid, powerful and stable. The beater can be adjusted in many ways, as well as the tension. All in all, it's a great quality pedal for not much money.
Plus, it comes with a tuning key which you can securely place on the pedal, so very convenient for gigs =)
DW 3000
As with any DW product, they have not sacrificed on quality. You can be sure that buying this pedal you are buying a quality product. DW has made it incredible, yet affordable. The build quality is phenomenal.
Quality at its best!
I love DW's pedals... and this one is no exception! They all seem to be so durable and valuable, still affordable.
I bought one of their double pedals some years ago (4000-series). As I barely need double kicks, I decided to get this single pedal to replace the old one. What a great decision!
The foot plate appears to be very solid, the engraved logo gives your foot some extra grip and the spring tension can be adjusted easily. I also like the small clip right beneath the foot plate which can hold a single drum key, quite handy.
DW's typical beater gives your kicks that little bit of extra power for a full volume drum hit, even if your leg starts to feel tired after hours of playing.
Give it a try, it's worth it!
DW3000 single pedal
Solid as a rock, heavy and sturdy. But all in a good way. It's not a clunky piece of hardware. Its all in aid of getting a solid footing on your kick. The beater is infinitely adjustable, as is the tension. All leading to a smooth action.
One problem: perhaps the hexagonal bolt used in tension adjustment is a tiny bit flimsy. But perhaps this is just relatively speaking in an excellent piece of drum engineering.
For €109, there is no argument, an excellent bargain that I'll be gigging with for years to come.
