Dope

All in all great practice tool for a new dw5000 turbo pedal. Would be nice if the rubber bounce matt was offerred in different reboundability levels to emulate different kick skin tensions

Light and foldable but not realistic feel. Overpriced.

This pad has good portability and perhaps is pretty good for a light jazz player. If you play rock and/or use double pedal I'd recommend staying away from this one. It's wobbly and gets pretty loud with a lot of annoying extra sounds to it that i could never find out where originated from.

For louder players I recommend a simple Gibraltar pad I you can find them.

Useful but expensive

I bought this to fill a gap when I was moving house and had no kit available. The stand is well built and very stable once set up. The pad is a bit too hard and consequently the 'tone' is a bit harsh and 'clacky'. The pedal itself is pretty straightforward, with little response or feel. It doesn't really imitate the real thing very well but I suppose it does the job adequately. I couldn't wait to get my kit set up again!!

Ideal practice tool

Very small and compact, light enough to carry around but good solid feel once fixed. This is ideal to warmup before gigs or to simply practice faster foot technique without a full kit. Can also be used for double pedal techniques with the DW practice pad kit. Very helpful tool and well made.
