Great device for double bassists who likes to amp the bass with mic

Using this preamp with two different mics Nadine and Audiotechnika and mixing it a bit with Realist life line, you can put more mic or more pickup depends of the venue you are playing, must have for a real upright player, highly recommended

Works great

This preamp has all I need as a double bass player.

I connect to the fx loop return of my old GK MB 150 and I get a clean focused sound.

During a gig, I enjoy great sound, controls to filter out unwanted room frequencies, I can mute, add an electric bass.

Adding a small tuner could have been a nice extra but that's a detail.

Not cheap but a good buy!

Perfect DI for Acoustic/Double Bass!

Bought this monster for use playing the Double Bass live! Great bit of kit and really helps avoid the dreaded feedback problem most Double Bass Players Face in live settings! The B Channel is nice to have also in the event you bring two instruments to a gig! A must have for DB Players though. Soundwise it brings a whole new dimension to your instrument and really helps to shape things a bit better and aids in tailoring the sound for specific venues as feedback behaves differently depending on what sort of room you're performing in! Also perfect for small stages where an amp isn't an option as it can be linked straight to a PA/desk for convenience!
