Hello I'm using these speaker in 100 lt homemade subwoofer boxes driven by lab four chanell power amplifier bridged in pairs and givng 4k rms watt on each of two channells. I was afraid it was too much!! but using them for djing I still have not succeded in reaching the limit. Tons and tons of wonderfull punching deep and round bass.... really satisfying. Compared to other subs from important brands I consider them a bargain. Strongly recommended.

Feels super solid out of the box, finish and adhesion etc all look top notch. I am using it in an Acoustic 301 enclosure and it provides a muscular and tight sound, with enough high end for my purposes. Heavier than the previous driver but this is to be expected for such a resilient unit

For this cost & @ the required 4 ohms for my power amp, this "big'un" certainly fills its role of punching out the lower end of my acoustic guitar. I have carefully made a ported/reflex enclosure for this, using the speakers specifications and using a good "active crossover" Rolls minimix does a perfect job for me. The resulting sounds is very impressive, never fails to bring good comments and interest from audiences. Arrived @ my house 3 days after ordering it. "it's big" and it's powerful.

I used this as a replacement speaker in my SWR Big Ben bass cab. The power rating was a bit higher than the original but was the closest spec I could find, and I had plenty of headroom with my power amp anyway. Sounds great, good build quality. No downside. If anyone else uses it in the same cab I did, the profile is a bit prouder than the original, so I had to find a way to raise the front grill by 2 to 3 mm so it is clear from the edge of the speaker.

i am using the rcf drivers in scoop bins replacing ev drivers ,the bass from the rcf is much better than the ev drivers, very tight punch .the cone its self is well built , and the 3 inch in - out means it can move a lot of air ,i am using them for djing and they rattle the place also 900 watts normal power handling .they are worth the money.i would highly recommend these.

I bought this speaker to instal in my own custom built sub bass cab. I was impressed with the overall build quality, It is a cast aluminium design for much better stability of sound when driven hard. and they sound great when installed in the cabs. nice one!

I bought as a replacement driver for my reflex cabs . I was dubious about buying the 186/3 as the original 186 is suberb and I have seen reports that the spiders are coming unglued and need repair. I'm happy to say the driver arrived with no signs of glue missing or thin traces (Im yet to see if this holds up with use) The sound quality is good, it delivers a nice smooth bass as I was hoping

I would like a bit smoother frequency response, but all in all quite nice sound. about the same quality as the 20year old B&C unit(at the time very expensive) it replaced, although i get a bit less low-end bass. build-quality seems nice, about 7months old, and used daily. most certainly great for the price.
