Budget-friendly feature-packed decay

This feature-rich pedal is ideal to have on your board. I does take some time to figure out how to acces all settings. The turning knobs on the pedal are also not the best quality/finish

Great pedal

Amazing sounds. The octaver especially is really genuine. The shimmer works but better with the FX level down to zero. The looper is cool but q bit annoying to need to press twice to stop it.

Great pedal

Lots of fun to be had with this, lots of different sounds etc to be had and at such a good price

Great Delay Pedal

Plenty of options, excellent sound, well built, can't fault this really at all, it is permanently on my board. Expression/External Tap is incredibly useful. Much like the Ocean's 11, getting to the secondary features quickly is a little fiddly for quick use, but not a huge issue at all. Love this pedal, heavily recommended.

Overall good pedal

It has a lot of delay types which I really love. It's great for ambient stuff but you can also get some classic delay sounds. The secondary options are a bit confusing at first but definitely worth it when you get used to them. I also got some great sounds using other instruments like analog synthesizers. Great pedal!

Great delay pedal

This is a great delay pedal with lots of different sounds! Tap tempo is really useful and can get almost any delay sound you would ever need out of it. For some of the delay types there's hidden knobs too, it's basically infinitely tweakable!

Great pedal, awesome alternative to the more expansive (and expensive) Grand Canyon if you don't need the extra settings and functions. Totally love mine, super silent, easy to operate, nice to have the option to reset the "hidden" settings. Appreciate the included adapter. The manual that came with my pedal was in German but the English version is always available on the EXH website.

I expected better

Potentially it's a great device. However: 1) my the tap button stopped working so I only have the red color and I can't change the time of the delay; 2) the shimmering and the octave delay are a bit to digital; 3) not very user friendly to me

Great and compact

Great delays and useful looper at the same time.

Great little machine

I love it. It's my first delay pedal and I already know that it will stay on my board for a long time. It's easy to use and I enjoy discovering new sounds with the secondary features.

Briliant and versatile

A lot is packed in this pedal. You need to check out a longer dedicated review. You get several delays, a reverb, up-down octavers (can be used without delay), loopers etc. Delays sound awesome, octaver too. The reverb is not that great for me, but that's just taste.

There's actually 6 controls in 4 knobs. Two controls (effect params) are reached by pressing and holding the button in the middle. It keeps the pedal small and at the same super-loaded with features, but a tad more difficult to use. Also, sometimes the pedal starts to behave funny. A knob doesn't work as it should or similar. It requires a "restart" (disconnect power and reconnect) to get back to normal working mode.

Still, it's brilliant.

This delay is action-packed with options!

Having owned more than 30 different delay pedals, my expectations for this one were pretty low. But - wow! Almost all of the sounds are excellent, the variations are an amazing bonus. I just can't recommend this enough, it's quite on par with the TC Flashback (minust stereo in/outs). The quality of the build, the number of sounds available and the overall quality of the sounds make this one a new standard to beat in this price bracket.

More options than you'll ever need

This is way more than a delay pedal.

It does it's job great in that department, but what made me buy it was the extra stuff like the Shimmer and Octaver.

Every effect sounds good and is super customizable with the secondary functions and all together make for an extremely creative pedal.

Sometimes the effect knob is not as precise as i'd like, and it's the reason i don't give 5 stars on every category. The tap tempo function could be better too, altho you can use an extra foot switch.

For the price is a great investment, for both creative and sound reasons.

Very good multi effects delay pedal

This thing does more than I expected but once I found the sound I was looking for I don't think I will use the other features.

Fun Little Thing

This is the first guitar pedal Ive ever bought, and I have to say, I?m really impressed.

The pedal has so many feauture, so much so that you can spend hours tinkering with it.

The only negative aspect is that you cant use delay when youre looping. Apart from that I have no complains.

Nice but too many things in a small box

The sound is ok, it has tons of effects but I had difficult time to use it. If you are in a budget is worth get it but do yourself a favor and get a tap temp device.

Lost of features for the price, but...

There are a lot of features onboard this little pedal. I love the sounds but I have a few niggles. I think it's more of a studio pedal than a live workhorse. The writing is so small it's virtually impossible to read from a standing position. And when you use the button combinations to change parameters, it doesn't seem to save them when you leave that mode. Plus using the bypass button for the tap tempo doesn't seem to work properly. I would nearly prefer an EHX pedal that is twice the width with the same features more accessible in order to make it more user friendly in a gigging environment, where you have to act fast.

More Than Meets the Eye

Bought this Pedal with another one from Electro Harmonix the Pitch Fork, with both am getting sounds ranging from Pat Metheny to John Scofield's style over my Ibanez AG95, the latest one release with less styling, such as the abalone inlays and old stylish bridge in exchange of a much better pickups and bridge.

Am running it over some solid state amplifiers, a more pro studio like, a Roland Jazz Chorus 22, and another modeling one, where am doubling the modes with pedals, but this is more for home sound tests, research am doing at times in my more music dedicated week ends.

The outcome is just astonishing. The nine types of delays are just perfect, and the rotary Knob that pilots It all is fast and easy to deal with. You get the basic standard Delays to more complex ones as the Electro Harmonix most famous classic the DMM, the Deluxe Memory Man.

The company has great track where Echo is concerned and the DMM was one among the most notable classic releases from them. Yet the basic Digital Delay is fine to me, particularly when properly modeled to the Pat Metheny?s sounds style I was ever fashioned at, while switching to the DMM You get ways of matching the U2 kind of sounds.

Beside all You get in one nice and small pedal the Tube, the Echo as a Modeled Delay: these are for standards. If You feel more experimental You can turn upon the Reverse Delay, the Octave Delay or the Shimmer. While the classic custom style Delays can be chosen among the Multi Tap Delay, the famous Deluxe Memory Man or the Reverb and Tape Delays.

In addition You have a Sample and Hold play mode as a Looper.

The only reason am giving 4 stars to Sound is that if You compare this product to a highly specific and more pricey Delay, there might be some minor difference with the full aura and presence those more specific expensive products do have. Yet if You find Your sound style here in the Canyon and still love to research Your sounds at times going experimental, You will much appreciate this Canyon product. As said much has to be seen respect to the guitar, pickups and amp you play with.
