Great in all aspects except a bit noisy

Great and fast tracking, even polyphonic, lots of options, great octave sound up and down, good for testing different down-tunnings.

Only a bit noisy when activated, adding bit a fuzz on top only worsens, but its maneagable.

Best of what is available in Pitch pedals

Very sensitive to power supply voltage interference. Buttons are also easily accidentally moved but it tracks really superbly well and that is why I love it and have not found a better substitute yet

Not ideal but okay

This pedal allows you to get a pitch shifted sound of your guitar or bass. This pedal has a "blend" knob so you can use your dry and wet signals simultaneously. And this is the main difference between this pedal and Digitech whammy.

The pedal has input for expression pedal and "latch" switch so you can use this pedal in "whammy ricochet" way. =)

The pedal sounds okay but I hear very tiny delay between my dry and wet signals and this is the only one minus of the pedal. Build well. The package is good.

Great!

I bought this so I could use a whammy type of effect, although it does more than that.

So first of all, the sound. It's good, I've never tried the Whammy 1, so I don't know if it's better or worse but, having no reference, all I can say is that all octaves sound in tune, it tracks easily and the bending is continuous. No control for mixing in dual mode (as in the POG), only a blend knob that mixes dry and wet.

Harmonies sound good as well. No minor 3rd however, which might be a drawback for some.

the footprint is small, which is nice for crowded boards, and if you use an exp pedal you can put them apart in your board, which is also good.

Also, if you don't want/have an exp pedal, you can use momentary mode (it as a latch mode on/off switch) and you can calibrate the bending speed (by using an exp pedal, just for a one time calibration)

Very easy to use.

But pricey.

Pros: sound, small footprint, use of expression pedal, or momentary mode (which can be calibrated). Up/down/dual modes allows to choose the octave direction. Goes up to three octaves.

Cons: pricey (and extra if you want an expression pedal), so it becomes more expensive than a whammy. Doesn't allow to control the mix of the octaves independently.

4 stars because of the price, and the lack of octave mix.

Good!

Overall, this pedal is great! The only thing I don't like that much, is the little delay it has.. There's a really small gap between the note you play and the effect, but no big deal, I use it when I want to give more punch to the solos (a little mix with an octave). You can do lots of things with this unit. There's an option to use both 2 octaves at the same time (lower and higher) and it's sounds killing! You can harmonize with 4ths, 5ths.. It's really good.
