That's what i like

Love this strings. Gently metallic sound with no agression. Stays lovely metallic and an individual sound even on high notes (3,4,5,6 strings). Very reasonable price by the way

Best strings

Smooth, quick to get in tuned, last longer than standard strings. Slightly warmer than the nanoweb, which is what I was looking for. These are my go-to strings.

Unpleasantly surprised.

I always use elixir strings on my electric guitar and bass guitar. This time I bought elixir for an acoustic guitar, and unfortunately after a week they got darker and the protective coating started to come off in pieces.

my new favorites

tone last longer than others but mostly what got me was their life lenght, they don't break easy at all. love them

no cons for me sry

Great strings, still going after 6 months

I am rating these strings after they are on my Guitar for six months. They still sound fine some of the coating on the Bass strings are starting to wear off mainly right where you strum the strings. I tried the Nano web but they dont last as long. So in my opinion these are great. Be aware that if you normally use a 12 gauge Acoustic string you may find coated 11 string to feel more normal, I did after trying both.

Great string

Great strings, they even make a mediocre guitar sound above typical expectations.

They're maybe a bit more expensive than average but its worth to try and make your a guitar a treat ;)

significant elixir quality

I use this string set with my takamine acoustic guitar. It really makes my guitar sound so amazing. Feels like it gives more sound to the guitar. Since i bought my guitar i always used this set, and they are really good i recommend.

Pros and cons

pros - sounds great, it doesn't get bad, makes your guitar louder. feels good and strong

cons - I did not see any bad side of using this strings, they are reliable

Make sure what is your guitar's string size first, in my opinion thats a good point to know about your guitar. I checked from official website of my guitar which string size i need to use with my guitar for good result and which is original. I highly recommend it !

Great

These string last a long time. You can't expect really zingy high end tone as they are coated, but the coating increases the durability.

Great durable tone

Been using Elixir strings for years and they're the more consistent strings tonewise.

Does the trick but not so exciting sound quality

I bought this product to minimize the amount of string noise on my guitar. It actually seems to do the trick compared to the original strings of my instrument. But I felt that the sound was a bit "plastic" and the strings not so "flexible". Maybe a smaller gauge would have helped, but next time I would probably buy the normal Elixirs despite the noise.

Slightly muffled in high-end range

These strings are really good. But for me they don't have enough brightness and high-end shimmering.

But they sounds much longer than any other strings

Good sound but didnt last much

I bought them after having tried the nanoweb for my electric guitar and was very happy with them. They have last me almost a year with very little wear.

That was not the case with the Polyweb... After only a couple of months they deteriorated, the protetive thing around the strings was torn apart where i pick - i am not a hard strummer and play less than 1 hour a day, the color has darkened but to be honest the sound is still acceptable.

I believe i have gotten a bad set but would not try them again, my friend who is a teacher and plays many hours has the same gauge Nanoweb Phosphor Bronze and after 6 months they are literally like new, unlike mine... disappointed
