Huge fan of coated strings, even bigger fan of Elixir.

Coating lasts a long time and you don't get rusted fingers.

Pro: Great tone, tunning is not necessary every day, they are durable for shure!

Cons: Wish they had more variety.

Great lasting strings!

I switched to Elixirs because I have always had issues with other brands, especially for the three high strings, as they would only last a couple of days without rusting. With Elixirs, I can have them for months and they sound just as new!

Great for wet hands

I suffer from hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) wich detroys any string set in matter of days/weeks.

Not the coated Elixers! They last long, and keep their tone well.

Great for my stratocaster

This product eliminated the pain of putting on new strings every month because they are durable. Besides, they sound incredible and extremely clean. It is easier to control the tonality of my instrument when I put these strings on because of their brightness.

Extended lifespan

Great strings with extended life. My main guitar is played 3 hours a day and the strings last about 3 months. Wipe them with a clean cloth after every session. Also no finger noise because of the coating! Cons:They are a little stiffer and they sound a little darker(which i like) than "normal" strings

This strings last and last! Sound is basically the same as with the undercoated strings. Maybe a bit duller like one hour into play but they stay like that until they broke.

My best guitar discoveries.

This strings have a nice feel compared to other coated strings. They feel like uncoated strings.

While a set of these is more expensive than a set of uncoated strings of any good brand, these outlast them by quite a while, and there is no detriment to how they play. It offsets, the cost, making these strings actually more economical than cheaper strings.

I have these strings on most of my guitars that I practice and gig with.
