PROS:
+ Last long
+ Feel nice (for me)
+ Price is great
+ Sounds great
+ My sweat doesn't kill them in 1 day
CONS:
NONE
I would get these if you want a string that lasts!
Des cordes au top
Pour l'instant je n'ai pas trouvé mieux en qualité/prix.
Les cordes durent dans le temps et restent stables.
Great durable tone
Been using Elixir strings for years and they're the more consistent strings tonewise.
Excellent
Last a long time and great quality. Cost a little more than other strings but sound is what its all about!
Reliability
Reliable sound for a long time.
For a couple of years I've been buying Elixirs, never lets me down.
My hand get kinda sweaty, but the nano coating prevents corrosion and they last and keep their tone for a really long time.
Unrivaled
I own 23 guitars, and I want to play them whenever I want. Elixir has solved this problem in a brilliant manner. I use them on ALL my instruments and the result is really good. Maybe not the best strings the first 3-4 hours, but compared later they have no rivals.
The best stings available IMHO
Last 3-5 times as long, but don't cost 3-5 times a s much, it's a no-brainer!
Very good
Very good strings - never had issues with them and have this brand on all guitars.
the final strings!
After many years I found my strings! Durability and excellent sound, the use of all my guitars! Recommended !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nanoweb
Usual excellent in tone and durability. 10/10
Excellent strings
I got some of these for my son - his hands are of the corrosive sweat type and eat strings.
The strings last very well indeed and keep the brightness and tuneability for a long time.
That said, I find they can roll under the finger when bending strings and have changed back to Ernie Balls on my guitars.
But I would still recommend them - the bending might not be a problem for you.
On sound alone, they are excellent.
Best available strings on the market
The best possible strings you can imagin. They sound perfect and last 10 times longer than other strings. Nano coat is very durable. I have 12 guitars and would never use any other strings.
Elixir Nanoweb Super-Light
These are some really cool strings, and at a fraction of the price my local music store sells them for! They really extend the life of your strings. Also great for that one poor guitar in the corner that doesn't get enough attention! You can rest assured that if you slap these on, your guitar will be playable at any point for at least a year!
Worth every penny
Cant fault these. I read a few reviews on here before purchasing that the sound quality could be lacking when using these strings but I couldn't agree with that. The sound is excellent and as I have really corrosive sweat these strings are a god send. A quick wipe down now after gigs and I can use these strings for 3 or 4 gigs where as I had to change strings after every gig before. Even if you don't have corrosive sweat like I do you should try these out and see what difference they make to your sound. You will be pleasantly surprised. A bit pricey but in my opinion well worth it
I keep going back to Elixir strings
Strings! Strings Strings! My other reviews recently have spoken about guitar sound but one important element often overlooked by gear heads is the strings themselves. They are such an important part of your overall sound so it's best to get the right ones: I keep coming back to Elixirs.
How do they feel? What's with the covering?
These strings are coated in an ultra-thin layer of gore-tex material. It does alter the feel of the strings, only marginally. They have a smooth butteriness to them without being overtly sticky. On the plus side, where some strings feel coarse when they've been on a while (as they oxidise/corrode/whatever they do) these generally don't do this and can be easily cleaned/wiped down after playing.
How does it sound? Does it dull the sound of the strings?
I'd say over the lifespan of a string - no. What you lose in a certain degree of freshness with brand new, say cobalt, strings you make up for in longevity. Where normal strings pass their 'best before' relatively quickly, Elixir strings sound almost as the day you bought them a couple of months down the line.
Are they good value?
Yes I believe the extended lifespan of the strings (and the respective quality and feel later into the life of the string) absolutely warrants the cost. It is perfect for casual players who aren't inclined to change strings every week. If you're playing a gig every night and have the finances to buy loads of new strings, maybe you don't need these!
As for super light - yep a great gauge for shredding, intricate licks, bending etc. and I don't feel like they're too wire-y or hurt the fingers at all.

If you want strings that sound fantastic and last a super long time check out.
Guitarists tend to sweat through their hands a lot, exposing strings to what is arguably some of the most damaging contact they can encounter in regular use.
Elixir protects against that sweat (and other forces)....
These are the best electric guitar strings, with each item here available in multiple different gauges to best fit your performance style.
The coating also provides a smooth feel and reduces finger squeak,) ; which can often be a nuisance in both recording and live performance environments.
Experience a whole new feeling.
Enjoying guaranteed - spare no money!
First choice for strings
Elixir are always my first choice for strings due to their long life. The tone is excellent, with these nanowebs not dulling the brightness like some other coated strings.
The BEST!!! strings
I never buy anything other than Elixir. Their nanoweb technology has saved me a fortune in strings since I started using them. Although on the slightly expensive side they make up for it with long life, and for me, a sound that you can beat.
Elixir Nanoweb Strings
The engineers at Elixir took their original Polyweb coating and shrunk it down to Nanoweb size. The result? Brighter-sounding electric guitar strings that last 3 to 5 times longer than regular strings....
In addition to an ultrathin grunge-resistant tubular coating on the wound strings, Nanowebs now have a revolutionary Anti-Rust plating on the plain strings to extend their life too.
Elixirs are the first major innovation in guitar strings in over forty years, and they deliver what they promise: great tone (a little bit metallic) and long life no matter what you put them on or how often you play...
These are good strings !
