Slick and fast.. and long lasting.. try em

As someone whose superpower is corroding strings, elixirs are absolutely great and completely worth the price difference compared similar uncoated strings. They cost twice as much, but last longer than twice as long.

Elixir. You can never go wrong with Elixir. Really.

Probably the best strings I’ve ever used

Title says it all, really. They’re expensive, sure, but they’re super smooth and comfortable to play, they last forever (and keep their comfort level, which is important), keep tune well and the dynamic range is great on them too.

Ruined

Used to get cheaper options. Honestly, all other strings have been ruined for me. Tried a cheaper set cause I had them lying around. The cheap strings make feel play worse.

Works Super Fine

I have tried previously some other strings from the elixir line but Polyweb is surely the best fit for me and my sound.

Nice strings

As usual for Elixir, nice and bright sounding strings, one of the best string manufacturer at the market

Simply the best

Living in a country where humidity is the worst enemy, it is really hard to find strings that will not rust or corrode in one week of using it. I've been using a set of Elixir for about 5 months, without any issues or rusting

The Bare Essentials

My personal favourite Guitar Strings. Warmest of Tones, huge Life ability and almost virtually impossible to break on you within the first 3 months. Have been using them for over a decade now.

Best strings so far

I've been searching for strings for my super strat with HSS pickup combination. I found the tone of uncoated strings on this particular guitar either too harsh when new or dull when older resulting in an uncontrollable tone. These elixirs are predictable. They are on the warm side, but this was my intention, because they give this guitar a balanced sound and work well across all tone and pickup settings. I'll probably try out the whole range still just out of curiosity, but right now I think these are the one for this particular instrument. Certainly not planning to go back to uncoated. Changing after about 3 months vs week(s) with uncoated.

In my opinion, soundwise they beat eny ernie ball or d'addario I've ever used. And they last a lot. A LOT!

Excellent for sweaty hands.

The most durable strings for those with acidic sweat. Excellent twang and tuning stability.

Great strings!

I've been a fan of Elixir strings since I got my hands on my first set several years ago and never went back to regular strings.

This polyweb version is nice and warm, which is a pleasant change. I usually get the other, more crisp-sounding strings (optiweb), so I was pleasantly surprised to find that these sound great, too! Get these if you don't want to change your strings too often.

With moderate use (I pick up and play my Strat for a bit a few times a week and record a little in the home studio), these usually last me several months. That's because they don't collect dirt in-between the string-windings like regular strings, meaning you don't even really need to wipe them down all that often (though I still do after every time I play, because it's a good habit). Don't play with greasy fingers ;-).

They're slick, smooth, durable and make playing easy.

Crystal clear and durable

I love Elixir Polyweb and nanoweb lines. The sound is crystal clear and its definitely much more durable than any other brand I used before.

Also, the coating limits the annoying squeaks from sliding your fingers along the strings.
