Better than expected, best so far

Honestly after trying and not liking their acoustic strings I decided to give these a shot and wow, nice and slick. I also use Optiweb and those are great as well, very long lasting and keeping their tone (if wiped every once in a while). I actually couldn't make fun of the bass player anymore with regards to changing strings :) .

Highly recommended.

Best strings, period.

Once you go Elixir, there is no turning back. Not much more can be said that wasn´t said in other reviews. Best strings by far.

I love them

What to say? I have sweaty hands, and even with good hygiene other staring brands don't last so long.

They deliver what they advertise, for a reasonable price

Top quality strings

I have tried all types of strings and Elixirs are the only ones that work for me, before discovering these strings my sweating would "kill" my strings way too fast. I'll never use any others unless a brand can come up with strings that are as good or better at a better price.

Great

As it says on the package - great tone, long life.

Good tone, works well

I'm a bedroom guitarist so I change the strings in 1-2 months. For tracking, I change always. These strings don't get rusty easily. It will take (depending on your playing and hand) a week to lose the tone slowly but surely, but you can continue to use it for practice reasons. Always use fresh ones for tracking, the difference is like a day & night.

Best guitar strings on the market

Long lasting and high quality, the strings sound like new even when taken care of for at least 6 months.

Definitely one of the best strings!

Durable, great sounding, "nanoweb" coating allows you to perform various tricks. what else does a musician need from strings?

heart strings

As the name suggests, it's the smooth elixir, spread over fretboard.

Anyhow, they have bright, characteristic sound with a nice metallic low end.

and are kind to a slow string changer, as myself.

Have had Elixir's for years, never have they snapped.

Have you ever had an elixir string break?

I am just going to say this. Over the last 10 years I developed the belief that only beginners break strings. Then I decided to change it up a bit and buy Ernieball instead of Elixir. I broke the E string almost instantly. These strings can take abuse and if you have a hard case for your guitar they can stay in good condition for months. Whether or not you like the sound and feel is completely up to you, but those strings do what they are designed to do and they do it well.

My favourite strings

I use these strings on most of my guitars. They feel great and have a great tone. I also think they last longer than strings from other brands.

I'm convinced.

Got these in an Elixir double pack, decided to give them a try. Longer lasting, as you'd expect, likely worth the premium.

My go to

These strings always sound fresh and I rarely break one.

Always coming back to elixir

Basically, I melt metal with my corrosive sweat. In literally 15 minutes of barely touching the strings, I leave spots of fresh nickel strings and the next day they're black. Elixir is one of the 2 brands that can resist my corrosion. They never rust, but I do however still have to change them after 1-2 weeks (or more if I'm not playing that much), because they get a scratchy feel from rubbing against the frets and it feels weird. But then again, every other brand gives me that plus tons of rust so yeah.

The ones that keep turning back to

They might be a bit harder to bend but they have nice round tone and they last for ever

Very good

These strings need no explanation. They last me for months, have less squeak while recording, stay in tune and sound fresh and bright for a long time!
