Perfect for extra-long-scale instruments

All my basses are 35-inch scale. Sometimes it’s a challenge to get a low B string that’s long enough. Elixir strings are perfect. I used them on my fretless and they last a good long time.

Great string

I really dig everything from elixir... I think that there is a little bit more tension with this strings but sound is very good and the life of this strings is amazing

Long lasting-great sound

I had previously been using ernie ball super slinkys and loved the tone. However, I found that they lost the brightness after a very short time and although they still sounded good to my ear, there was a big difference from their new sound. With Elixir nano web strings I find a very similar tone and zing while new and this lasts far longer than the super slinkys! This makes them worth the extra money in my opinion. They are also very similar in feel to the slinkys in that I can slide smoothly across and up the neck. Overall these strings are excellent and I will keep them as my string of choice! If you like ernie ball strings, you'll love these!

Lots of Bass

***Sound***

The Sound is very crisp yet does not lack the Bass frequencies. Very defined and clear. A difference to many other coated strings I have tried.

***Quality***

The coating makes this string very endurable but does not affect the sound in a negative way. It is very easy and comfortable to play.
