I use these on a 6 string guitar....

Been a fan of Elixir strings for a very long time and even turned some friends in exclusive elixir string users.

That being said, I use these strings for playing a 6 string guitar in drop C.

I like a tight low string for chugga chugga but appreciate a lower gauge for melodies and solo's.

So I drop the .049 so I get CGCFAD with .059 .038 .028 .018 .014 .011

Works great !

They last

Good brand, good product, good packaging. What else ? They last 3 times longer than the previous string I've used (d'addario). The sound is less metallic compared to non coated string but the price it's unbeatable
