Best strings
Excelent strings in every aspect!
Supersaund ja kestab, kui hooldada-puhastada.
Perhaps the best strings you can find
Really, there's no question about it, I tried most string brands, nothing beats Elixir. Durability, sound, no rust, volume, they have it all. And with this package, the price is also amazing.
Great strings, long lasting.
I use these strings on my main gigging guitar, doing around 5 shows a week.
I have had these on my guitar for two weeks now and they still sound great. I'm really pleased with them.
Use Elixir for wholw my life, and never even want to try other strings, everyday gigs, and sound is perfect for me!
Always getting 3 packs when i can!
2 boxes of these can last me up to a whole year, i use elixir nanoweb phosphor bronze on all my guitars, especially in live situations. They really are the longest lasting treated strings out there, great sound too!
I lately noticed Martins lifespan SP phpsphor bronze to be just as good or even better but i use martins for studio because they can`t last as much as elixirs, especially in live aggressive play.
I tried almost every string company out there tho, can`t replace elixirs nanoweb phosphor bronze.
Quality strings for everyday play, bright distinct sound. Long retain the familiar sound, the timbre does not deteriorate for a long time. 3 sets per pack for a good price.
Not cheap - but worth it in the long run
I have a collection of guitars, ranging from top of the line to quite cheap, I have been playing Pro & Semi-Pro since the 50's and over the years tried most brands, since coming across Elixir strings about 12 years ago - they are all I've used since.
Pros for Elixir are they outlast normal strings - so although they are initially more expensive to buy, I find they last 3-4 times as long as cheaper strings so work out better value in the long run.
Being coated - they cut back on squeak whilst playing - a bonus when recording and protect the string from sweat and dirt with the bonus that they sound good throughout their life!
Cons? well none really the only one would be they are expensive at first glance but as explained above, work out cheaper in the long run - so none (which is why I use them)
Very nice strings with exceptional life
These are really nice sounding strings on our Martin OM-42. They last for positively ages before sounding dead, and unlike some coated strings, manage to sound very much like uncoated varieties. In the studio they are great as you really notice the reduced finger noise. Highly recommended,
Great Tone, long lasting...what more could you want?
I bought the Elixir Nanoweb Strings purely because of the string coating. Unfortunately during gigs I sweat, a lot. This doesn't help strings especially if you have sweaty hands. I used Martin strings for a long time and used fastfret to clean them after every gig. Whatever I did the strings would almost certainly break. I'm not a guitar trashier so I found the problem was sweat corroding the strings.
The Elixirs solved all my problems. By using fastfret I can get atleast 6-7 gigs before the tonal quality begins to diminish and even after that I might get another 5 gigs out of them before I'll change. They are SUPER STRINGS and well worth the investment.
