Well-known durability and sound

This is the best VFM deal on strings, as you need to be sure they never break/rust on you easily.

Affordable considering their durability.

Expected reliable quality from elixir, durable thick coated strings that darken your tone a little.

Might feel slippery for people used to the nano/optiweb series.

It's not my first purchase of these strings. Custom light are good if you want a "looser" feeling when you're playing while still keeping a solid top few strings.

They last a long time from my previous experiences although you may not like the sound and feeling. They feel slicker and never sound "brand new", but they keep that week old sound for years.
