Epiphone Dove Studio 5-stars Reviews
The Dove
At its price point, it is a steal. Wonderful bright tone, strong voice, the Dove is a hummingbird on steroids... as an acoustic guitar for blues and rock (especially for rock) it is perfect.
Great Vintage looking acoustic
Easy to play and well build acoustic. Feature wise the solid top and the pïezo are great additions at this price point. It's a bargain.
A Great Acoustic for Beginners and Intermediate Players.
The Epiphone acoustics that are in the medium price range ie: Hummingbird, Dove, J200,s, are always solid instruments and it's very rare to find one that's sub par.
The Dove Pro is no exception to that rule, as it plays perfectly straight out of the box, the action was low, no truss rod adjustments needed and the playability was great all over the neck.
I always recommend people who are looking for a good guitar to start or upgrade to, to purchase an Epiphone acoustic.
As they look and play like they are far beyond their price point.
If you are considering buying an Epiphone Dreadnought, than you can't go wrong with the Dove Pro or Hummingbird Pro.
Looks great, feels great, and sounds great.
I've been contemplating to get an acoustic-electric from Epiphone for quite a while now and I just couldn't decide whether to buy a Hummingbird Pro or a Dove Pro since I have yet to physically test them out and I've only watched video reviews on Youtube. I wanted an affordable guitar that would sound great both plugged and unplugged so I decided to just buy them both and sell the one that I don't want. I settled for the Dove Pro namely because of two reasons: electronics and overall sound. This thing sounds great when it is plugged in! You can hear the steel-ness of the strings thanks to the Fishman pickup and when unplugged, it has that full, thick dreadnought tone compared to a thinner sound from the Hummingbird Pro. For the money, this guitar is worth every penny.
Great looks and great sound at a great price!
Looks like the Gibson original and sounds nearly as good... atleast at a tenth of a price. Pickguard needs a gloss varnish coat to keep the paint. Original strings is a joke - as always. Changed them for Elixir Nanoweb Costum Light - spot on.
