Gut!

Not up to expectations

Of all the basses I now or have owned this without a doubt was the most disappointing. The set up was nonexistent the neck was bowed the sound was terrible and even the restringing with a decent set of strings did nothing to improve things. I will be selling this guitar on as soon as possible and hope to recoup some of my money.

Deep mud

Decent build quality with a straight neck, good fret job and clean finish. Boxy heel joint. Muddy sound but clarity somewhat improved with 50s style wiring and good quality strings. Neck heavy. Bridge pickup significantly weedier than neck but sounds good with a Brassmaster or superfuzz. Neck pickup pretty darned monstrous but low mids can be overwhelming. Good value for money but can't help feel that a short scale with a proper varitone switch would get significantly closer to the Bruce...

Very good value for little money.

EB-3 bass.

I have to say that it is a well built bass with flawless finish.

You can produce a lot of different tones from this thing as it has a pickup selector and 2. very different pickups.

Blend them together at will and you can find your own tone.

As expected it comes poorly setup from factory, intonation is way off and strings fly high above the fretboard but that is an easy fix.

Overall: Good stuff.

Headstock Heavy

This bass is beautifully finished. The body is slim and the neck feels very fast and comfortable. The cherry finish is awesome and oozes vintage looks. The only downside is the headstock is way too big and with the strap button placement on the back of the body, neck dive is a big issue. Overall though a great looking, sounding and feeling bass.

Fantastic!

received the bass couple of hours ago! It came out of the box ready for the action! The finish is excellent, you could expect a crap pair of pickups for this price range but this is not the case, the ones that came with the bass are hot and delivery a true vintage sound! If you love the bass sounds from 60's era this is the bass for you!
