Epiphone J-200 EC Studio BK 5-stars Reviews
Great guitar for the money
Was kooking for a nice playable acoustic to record with on a budget. This ticks all the boxes.
Comfortable neck shape and scale, cutaway body and the pickup is quite nice for amplification or recording. sound is bright with a good amount of bass.
The build quality is good (perfect out of the box) for the money. Parts do look budget on close inspection such as the bridge and pickup, but these are astethic issues more than functional ones.
Overall a great guitar if you are looking for a decent acoustic to play or record with and don't want to go all in with a higher end model.
Very good guitar for affordable price
pros - very good sounding guitar, reasonable price, quality manufacturing, cool design, esonic2 pickup system - nanomag is great for fingerpicking, nanoflex is better for strumming - it's possible to combine both
cons - it's quieter then you'd expect from a jumbo with solid top, nanomag pickup has a bit unbalanced sound when strumming
My Go to Acoustic
I have 20 guitars, 5 acoustics and i play this daily. I use Ernie Ball Earthwood Rock and Blues strings. Sounds ok unplugged but I love to plug in and use both outputs and two amps. I put the end pin output socket into a Marshall AS50 and the side output socket into a Fender Blues Junior. Such fun to be had for so little money
ONE OF THE BEST ACOUSTIC GUITARS EVER MADE
Guitar feels amazing to play and it is very beautiful looking. If you are looking for a good acoustic guitar for fingerstyle or just strumming this one is the right choice and its absolutely worth the price.

Playing this guitar is reward by it self.it sound great(full clear loud rich...)and it looks perfect.
i have been playing guitar for 20y.for myself,my kids and for my neighbours in local pub,and i newer had such a good instrument.did not expect to be able to get such a quality for that money,but...
It has small part on the back of the body of decoloration and maybe I could get another but I am not sending HER anyway
electronic -well tested,user friendly(tuner perfect)A+
Neck -low action with no buzzing A+
Machines -grover,perfect working order but the gold tone on
the edges is leaving us already A
Body -stunning A+
Quality -A(becouse of the decoloration)
Sound -million $ A+
A great accoustic guitar
It is neatly done and sound almost as good as it's much more expensive big brothers made by LesPaul.
It really looks cool. Electronics could feature frequency selectable tuner.
An afordable choice for most begginers and even more demanding guitarists.
What a beauty
Playing with this little beauty, and getting used to the pick-ups and sound quality,
for a week now. I have been considering buying the EJ 200 for a while, and it feels and sounds great. Also came set up well; probably change the 12-54 strings to 11-52's
Beautiful guitar
Amazing value for money
Great guitar with a lot of lovely features. Met all my expectations but be prepared to change the strings for some lighter ones unless you like playing on 12's. The fade between two picks provides a wide range of sounds and the Grover machine heads mean it seldom needs tuning.
Every time I use I marvel at how much guitar I got for the money. That makes me happy!
Great sounding guitar
I love playing this guitar. I had read the reviews which set my mind on this guitar, that and the fact that Todd Snider makes very good use of one live and maybe also on his recording. But I also wanted to buy a guitar off the shelf so I knew what it felt and sounded like. I had a few opportunities to try some guitars but none felt just right or worth the money. Unfortunately though, I never got the chance to try out one of these. But it looked too nice and all the online reviews I could find just spoke so highly of it. So with that and a gut feeling I ordered online. Zero regrets. Haven't even changed the stock strings yet. Play it loud, soft, pick...whatever, it's the biz.
Awesome Guitar for the price
My ideal acoustic guitar, the one I yearn to own, is a Gibson J200. But with only a few hundred to spend instead of a few thousand, this was the obvious choice. So glad I made it. I've played many guitars in this price range and the feel, playability, tone, looks, and on board electrics are amazing for the price. Could not be happier.
The best choice
As the title said the best choice in the scale of 100-400 euro instruments. Great deep sound with the best pickup system for this price range
Perfect guitar!
I've had this guitar for few month now, it sounds fantastic for the price range, good initial setup, fantastic look and feel, easy tune and easy connection for recording purposes.
When you pick up the guitar, you can feel the sturdy construction. the sound coming from the guitar is huge, very balanced between bass and mid-range notes. Stings height is low thus making the playing really easy. Guitar has both mono and stereo plugs for jacks so integration with a mixer or recording interface is really easy.
For me this guitar was an upgrade from a mid range Ibanez and the difference is massive.
Absolutely love the guitar and the full feel it has!
quality at a great price
This Epiphone has a great tone, good action on the frets as well as looking good; works well on its own and comes through great with an amp. As evidence of what I've said I had order another as friends tried it out and wanted one for themselves.
