the bangiest bang for the buck
Ok, I've been playing it for 10 months and overall, I'm pretty happy with this guitar.
My biggest concern was the wood drying and I still cannot be sure how the it will behave in the future, but the last winter was pretty cold, the air was pretty dry and so far, so good.
I had been looking for a Les Paul\Single Cut guitar for a while: LTDs, Guibson Studios, Japanese replicas - nothing clicked with me really. This one just fit my criteria: it's not really light like LTDs or Stuidos, but it's also not Custom heavy - it is something in the middle. It provides a variety of sounds (although coil-splits sound a bit dinlky, it's fine in a gig situation and you can also combine different pickups in different modes). The most annoying thing so far is caps getting of the nobs when you trying to activate coil-split.
Overall the quality is pretty good and I personally prefer this one over Studios
Great guitar and great service! The guitar arrived in perfect conditions and in just a few days. This Epiphone looks amazing (the FPB version was sold out at the time almost everywhere, its very comfortable to play and sounds great.
Brilliant!
I wouldn't normally buy a guitar online but it was covid 19 lockdown so I thought I'd take a punt having seen good reviews for this instrument. I've only had the guitar for a few days but I'm very pleased with it. It sounds brilliant and the quality of parts and the finish are excellent. The only problem is that now I need to upgrade my amp to do this justice :-)
