Epiphone Les Paul Player Pack EB 5-stars Reviews
Amazing first guitar pack
I was searching for starter guitar and found this amazing piece of masterpiece. Guitar sounds good, built great, straight neck. Really decent guitar. I think you can upgrade it in future for example by changing pickups. As a beginner I dont need too much, so I found it really satisfying to play.
Amp is not that bad, I think expecting more for this price is wrong. It is such a starting point and allows you to understand what you need from amp.
Accessories also are good from my perspective.
Parcel was delivered in month to Kazakhstan, but I think this is only because of Christmas and NY holidays.
Great Beginner Guitar
Perfect to start with and practice
Excellent for beginners
Everything you need to start playing in one box. The quality is good for such a product and you have everything you need at your fingertips. I am very happy with my purchase.
Good
Used as a beginner's guitar.
The guitar itself is good, especially for it's price point. The sound is good, from clean to a ton of fuzz, it plays nicely. The one we got has a bit of fret buzz, altough it isn't very noticeable.
The amp is exactly what you'd expect for something so cheap. It's enough to get a feel for it and see if you'd like to invest into a better one.
The strap is okay, so are the tuner and picks. The cable became patchy very early on, and we couldn't move around much, but it still did it's job.
Overall, while it's individual parts might not be the greatest things, as a whole, it certainly delivers on what it wants to be: a decent guitar pack for people just starting out. Recommended it.
Epiphone Les Paul Player Pack
I have been interested in playing for some time now. I decided I was going to buy a guitar and came across this pack. After reading some reviews I decided to buy it. It looks amazing and the pack seemed fairly cheap for what it contains. Delivery was quick and box was sealed well. The guitar looks nice and I have been really enjoying my time playing it so far. The amp seems ok for a beginner, you can always go for an upgrade. The tuner is a welcome addition. I was pleased the way it came out of the box, but one thing I did do fairly quick was change the strings. If you're looking to begin playing and you don't want to spend much money, this pack is perfect in my opinion.
My first electric guitar
I recently bought the Epiphone Les Paul Player Pack EB and is very impressed with it. It is my first electric guitar (I am still a beginner) and what a beauty it is for the price. Good quality which you expect from Epiphone and Gibson. I will recommend this guitar to anyone looking for an affordable but great quality guitar. The amp is a bit small in sound, but after all it is only a practice amp and it does what it is intended to do.
Great value for money
Excellent value for money. Ready to play out of the box.
Guitar: Some minor finishing issues. Sound great and plays great. Excellent value for money.
Amp: Good basic strat up amp. No reverb, no gain control. Dirty mode switch, but it doesn't sound good. Clean sounds ok.
Overall: I think this is a good starting point. Especially is you don't know if you're going to get into playing and you don't want to spend too much on equipment. Later you can buy a better amp and still use the guitar.
Comes with a lot of features like picks, strap, online learning subscription.
Ideal beginner's guitar.
As an ageing "re-starter" I searched long and hard for a setup that would a) not embarrass me with the neighbours at the beginning, b) reward me if and when I improved and c) not be an expensive white elephant if I simply couldn't hack it after a 40 year break.
The Epiphone Les Paul Player Pack EB ticks all of the boxes. The solid body allows me to thrash away unamplified (or through headphones from the amp) to the discomfort of no-one but my cat. The guitar itself is very pleasurable to play - nice action, smooth fretboard, good pickups - a range of tone hard to beat for the price. The little 10-watt amp punches above its weight, especially with the addition of a Danelectro D-1 distortion pedal for almost no money. The included clip-on tuner is simple to use, accurate enough for my ears and should last a long time because the guitar stays in tune for me for over an hour.
Highly recommended for anyone starting or re-starting.

Epiphone Les Paul Player Pack EB
This is a great value for money set. I bought the guitar for one of my students expecting to do a full setup before handing it over but instead it didn't need touching. Some budget guitar come with frets unfinished and a terrible setup but this didn't very impressed! I would recommend this to any beginner. A well made budget guitar that also sounds great. It comes with everything a beginner needs which I though was great. My student was very impressed and couldn't believe the price! I only gave it 4 stars for features as it is a very basic model - but none the less a great one!
Great value package - highly recommended
The guitar feels really good - the weight, finish and playability are just right. This is especially impressive given the low cost of this guitar - it doesn't look or feel cheap. The black finish is classy. The sound is better than you might expect in this price range, with clear distinct tones between pick-up selections. Set up was great, out of the box, and with a quick tune it was good to go.
The amplifier is small but solid. It packs a decent output and easily fills the room if necessary. The clean or overdrive options add some variety. Reverb would have been a nice extra but, again, for the pack price its a good deal. Picks, tuner and a cable make the deal complete and allows you to plug in and go. Beware that the plug is two-pin European, so if like me you live elsewhere you need an adapter.
Overall, I highly recommend this package. I wanted an affordable electric guitar package after years playing an acoustic, and did a lot of research before buying. There aren't too many reliable options at the low budget end of the market, and I think the Epiphone Les Paul Player pack stands out from the rest.
