Befaco Kickall

Befaco Kickall

This kick module really packs a punch with a lovely war analogue character. It has it's own unique sound so if you're looking for a 808 or 909 clone this ain't it but for me that's a really good thing. You can get really long boomy bass sounds and sharp sweeping kicks that really cut though the mix. My only request would be for Befaco to make a whole family of these drum modules to go with the Kickall, as I would buy them all!

Endorphin.es BLCK_Noir

Endorphin.es BLCK_Noir

I like the BLCK_Noir a lot, the only thing that I see as a con is the fact that the circuit is too much noisy... Apart from that the sound sculpting is good, specially if you into Techno / Darkwave / Industrial / Electro. The FX section is very good and the interface nice and easy to use.

Jomox ModBase 09 MKII

Jomox ModBase 09 MKII

Based on 3 reviews

If you want to have dedicated analog kick drum in eurorack format without any compromises on sound quality and features you do not have many options. One woudl say, there's a quite a lot time passed since first release of this module and there's no visible changes on MKII. And that's true, JOMOX did visually the same module with it's pros and cons. It's huge in size, it has crazy oldschool LCD display while other current modules has build in IPS panels, it has midi IN/OUT on backside of the module so you cannot use them without some DYI solution ... BUT THE SOUND!!! It's incredible how this kick sounds. You can create a large pallete on analog kicks and you can save your creations to memory and load them later! Best sounding and versatile kick in eurorack by my opinion. Higly recommended.

ADDAC 103 T-Networks

ADDAC 103 T-Networks

Based on 5 reviews

This little rinky-dinky module has 4 T-network dums sounds. 4 trigger inputs, 4 separate outs and a mix out. It sounds old school and true to its heritage. Think 808 or CR78 or any other old drum machine. It Excels at tom sounds and sharper high blips. If you want to make a snare sound you have to mix it with some noice. It has 3 settings for each channel. L (low) M (Mod not middle) and H (high), the M (Mod) has a slight enhancement in decay. It doesn't make a "Oh my god I fell of my chair"-BD but it has a nice austere thonk to it. It can produce sounds ranging from low BD to high noice blips. The jewel of this module is that you can trigger it with anything. Anything from a normal trigger to Audio. When fed audio it turns into a "destructive filter" which in essence...

Endorphin.es Queen of Pentacles

Endorphin.es Queen of Pentacles

Based on 2 reviews

The Queen of Pentacles is a TR-909 v 2.0 in a sturdy, modular package, without a sequencer. It has a wonderful analogue bass drum, snare and clap. The bass drum is a real punchy "kick" and the snare + clap have a broad soundscape (from soft to punchy). Then you have the four sample slots - yes! - you can create your custom TR-909 with your own samples - the files need to be in a specific format (16bit .wav files), allow you to use 0-10 minute samples. You cannot CV control the pitch of sounds, but you can adjust the sample to the desired tone, then save the knob position. The DSP, sound effects, are fine, they can add a lot of character. The filter is similar to isolators, so with one knob for HPS or LPF, the middle position is unfiltered, takes some time to learn but it is an...

Tiptop Audio HATS909

Tiptop Audio HATS909

Based on 2 reviews

This iteration of the 909 circuit is a great way to achieve 909 percussions and more, with the original 909 features and more! I highly recommend it for the price/quality. The RAW and Mod features are great for further processing and achieving more sonic results.

Erica Synths Toms

Erica Synths Toms

I went down the road of purchasing the whole bundle from Erica Synth, including the drum sequencer and the various drum modules that come within the series. Overall I feel like the Toms produced from this unite are a bit disappointing, they do not feel natural and the sound quality is lacking, for this specific Drums, I have returned to use sample. Build quality is amazing like anything from Erica Synth
