Can't handle my corrosive fingers
Not their fault, Elixir are the only strings that last more than a couple of hours playtime, acoustic or electric.
I just wish they weren't so expensive but still cheaper than replacing strings on 4 guitars every 7 or 10 days
Good set of strings
Nice feeling and good sound
Good set of strings
Good set of strings for good price.
Still using
I've been using these sets for quite some time now.
I really like the sound and feel of it. However, I have very sweaty hands, and these badboys go rusty very quickly if you don't clean and dry them after every time you leave your instrument. :)
Good strings
They are overall a good set of strings, but as I don’t consider myself a heavy bender, I think 10 days is not the longest time of durability. But of course they don’t have some special coating on them, so I guess it’s okay.
Great Strings
A nice set of strings with a nice bright sound.
Only complaint would be that they tend to rust a bit quick, but that could also be because of the weather of where i live where there is a lot of humidity.
As good as any other "branded" strings.
These are some bright strings with good resistance.
nice sound!!!
Warm tone ! Good quality!
Good strings
You can't go wrong with these strings. Sound good and last long.
No issues
nice strings that feel good
perfect for my price range, can't complain
All time favorite
Cheap and works great.
I cannot say I tried a lots of different brands, but I am quite happy with the sound and quality, as well as the overall "spirit" and visual design.
I usually change them every 6 month :-) they lost their brightness in the first weeks, as with most strings, and then are very stable.
The best strings
These strings are the best. If you play in E Standard or E Flat, go for them. They're perfect.
I play every day, with sweaty fingers, and the strings last for 2-3 months.
The price is another big advantage. You can easily change the strings 4-5 times/year, without spend a lot of money.
Pros:
> durable (around 2-3 months)
> stay in tune
> control of bending, even with sweaty fingers
Cons:
> corrode quickly (at least, they have a good price)
Quality, basic
Very good, quality strings. Long-term solution for a guitar. Can handle heavy playing and some nice, easy 'jazz' tones ! I always choose Ernie Ball !
The best non coated strings there are
I will preface this by saying I now only use coated strings. I have very acidic sweat and most sets of strings only last me a week from the first time I play them.
These, on the other hand, last me for a full month. If I'm recording I always put on Ernie Balls for the sound and sustain I get from them. I've never had a single string break on me while using them, even with a floating trem.
Currently, I'm on Elixirs which last me far longer than these. But I still use them on recordings. For people who have normal sweat, you can't go wrong with Ernie Balls.
good quality for the price
I use these strings on my Les Paul.
They sound clear and articulate.
Only downside is that they wear out pretty fast, but on the upside they tend to still sound okay and maintain playable.
The price is definitely worth it.
Decent tone for the price
I have been using this strings for more than 5 years. It is good enough for home records in terms of clarity.
great strings
the strings are nice sounding
but after restringing my guitar 2 strings broke
Great product for a good price
I've been using Ernie Ball strings for years on different guitars. The sound is bright and clear. They are strongly built. I've never had a string break on me or had any major issues. The only problem is that the sparkle wears out pretty quickly. However, for this price Ernie Ball strings are definitely a good buy.
Ernie strings
They are average good. I used these and now I adopted heavier ones. Well, I don't usually play bends, and these "Regular Slinky" are ok for bends.
