love EBs

on super Strats by Ibanez, 9s feel like 10s so you actually need these. I usually go heavier but these are great on my Ibby super Strats...

My favourite set of strings

Been using this sets of strings for almost 15 years. Once I tried it I never looked back. Quality, sound and price ratio is simply unbeatable. Would highly recommend to anyone.

My number 1 pick for guitar strings

I have bought the ernie ball 009 strings from the recommendation from my teacher, and it is truly one of the best sets of 009 strings that you can find!

The tone and playability from the string is amazing. First of all, these strings are so versatile that it can be basically used for any genre of songs. I play metal, where both distorted rhythm and lead sounds phenomenal, however using these strings on other genres such as jazz and ballads are also very great. Second of all, the feeling of the string is very smooth and comfortable. The strings are very easy to bend while keeping a very good tone, and my fingers don't hurt as much as others would.

If I had to choose a string to put on my brand new guitar, this would be by far my first pick, from the reasons mentioned above.

It's Ernie, It's good

Let's get straight to the point, you want strings? You buy strings, you want GOOD strings? You buy Ernie's,

No second thought.

Decent Strings

I don't honestly get all the excitement for Ernie Ball strings. I like them, don't get me wrong, and they certainly offer a wide variety of choices, but they're just slightly above medium in terms of quality, nowhere in the vecinity of Elixir and others.

Even so, I will still buy them because of the price and still change them after around three months of use :))

Very good.

I like them, even though I went to 10/46 lately on all my guitars.

They last a long time and sound awesome.

Do their job

They do exactly what strings are supposed to do, and the nickel plating really makes them easy on the fingers

pros and cons

i love super slinkys but with my aggresive play style and intense use of the whammy bars on my guitars i cant stay a whole week without breaking atleast 2 strings

Best strings, especially for a floyd rose guitar

I am using EB strings for more than 20 years - i have tried different brands and gauges, but i have found out that EB SS 9's are definitely best strings, especially for a guitar with floyd rose. The bends and vibratos are great.

Best brand on the market

Except the fact that they break fast, they do not rust, the sound stays the same, and the feeling is quite good

Pleasantly surprised!

I usually use rather expensive flatwound strings, so I am far from an expert when it comes to roundwounds. However, even I could easily tell that these are excellent strings for the money.

My only gripe is that they needed some time to stretch out before they stayed in tune, but this may be normal with a set of thin-gauge roundwounds. I expected an improvement over the old and rusty set that came stock on my Harley Benton, but the difference was night and day! I could not believe how much better the guitar sounded with these strings.

Also, the tension feels pretty even, and they are a joy to bend on! Time will tell how well they hold up, but for now, I am more than happy with my purchase. Finally, one thing I especially like is that the packaging is hermetically sealed, so you do not have to worry about where and for how long you store them — they should never oxidize.

These and these only

For standard tuning these have been the only strings I ever use. You find them at pretty much every music store in the world and they are consistent as hell. No BS with set up changes, and I literally haven't broken a string in years. I just change them when I want that new string sound again.

Love how they sound and feel

They indeed come slinky out of the box and, despite my sweaty hands, they last a long time! To this day haven't had one of them snap on me, even with plenty of heavy playing and bending.

Can't buy another set of strings since I tried them for the first time.

Well, EC, DG and much more other guitar players use this set. You can order and have a good time for sure.
