Ernie Ball 2223 Reviews
My go to!
My go to strings. Can't go wrong with them!! Try them out if you haven't already.
This are easily my favorite strings
I have been using both Ernie Ball 009's and 010's for the past 15yrs and doubt that will change any time soon.
Just nice cheap strings
Nice comfortable package (every two strings with and without wound in different bags) and good quality.
Sound is very subjective theme. For me, in these are too much of that metal sound when you're playing. And I think they are too mellow for me.
Good but not perfect
I have been using Ernies for years now but I think I'll be switching to another brand.
I gig 1-2 times a week and I find Ernies don't last very long before they get rusty. They are perfect when you first put them on your guitar, they tone and feel are probably the best out of all strings I have tried but I feel I must change strings every 1-2 gigs due to the corrosion. I have on occasion opened a brand new Ernie Ball set and there were signs of rust on them, on a brand new set! I have tried Daddario XL over the past few months and I noticed they last way longer than the Ernies but I must say I definitely prefer the sound and feel of the Ernies.
I guess they're perfect for studio use or for guitar players that change their strings often
High quality
Use for a very long time, the best option is the price is high quality.
New strings ?
Ernie Ball are excellent quality and good value - perfect!
I love ernie ball
It's a great set but don't forget your setup if you want to get the most of it
Best strings on the market
Amazing strings for the money.
They play great. Work well with GHS Fast fret to refresh and clean them. Only thing that is bad about them is that they get played out fast - I usually change string every month and I play everyday for couple hours.
Solid and bright
Always use Ernie Ball on my Strat. Lovely bright tone and smooth feel. Never had an issue with them before.
Bends and tone all the way!
Ernie Ball as always has proved that their strings are high quality made. These ones are very versatile, easy to bend, a very warm tone, excellent bass and treble, it's so freaking balanced! Don't hesitate! Buy them now!
Great
These strings have been my go to since i started playing and they very rarely snap and break. They also sound great especially when they are new!
Always Good
I've used these strings on my American Standard Stratocaster for years. They are very well made, have good tone and are available anywhere you go. These are all strong points in favor of my decision to keep using them. No wonder so many Pro's use these.
Pros: Quality, Available, Good Sounding Strings
Cons: None
Awesome
Timeless quality - my personal favorites
My Strat's Go-To Strings
Ernie Balls get the job done — they feel great and last long enough. The sound? I'm still not convinced strings make a big difference for electric guitars, as long as they're reasonably fresh. Sure, there's better strings out there. But for the money, they're perfect.
Ernie Ball 2223
Super Slinky, Super quality, Super sound, Super String...
Can't go wrong
with good old EB ;)
Best you can get
These are the best strings I have ever used. If Ernie Balls are good enough for Slash then they're good enough for me
Great value
These are my favourite strings at the cost point. Feel great, easy bends and stay in tune. They typically last me 1 month before sounding a bit dead meaning that I replace them after about 6 weeks as I am a bit tight that way. Great bright sound when new.
Been using them for years
Have been using them for years, good quality for the price. Use it with dunlop 65 Ultraglide to keep them fresh a lot longer
I have used these strings for many years and really like the sound and feel.
