Reasonable choice

This is the set I take when sometimes I get bored with my standard 10-52 set and I want to get a lighter feel

Best of this type.

The best balance for EQ. Both thickness and stability. Both bass and treble. Very good overall!!

Nothing wrong with these strings

To me, they're a good choice if you play in standard tuning and are used to 10s but want a bit more tension on the lower strings. Which helps if you occasionaly have to trop the low string down to D

Good but..

Good strings but i prefer the regular slinky. They are not bad at all but because i have tried so many strings the regular slinky are the best for me!

Classic strings for standard playing

Perfect string for classic rock-type playing. Super easy to bend and get those beautiful Gilmore-esque sounds out of.

I'm using them on E standard too.

Best strings for e-guitar

Been buying Ernie Ball slinky series strings since I tested them first time few years ago. Zero broken strings since then in gig use.

Best of both worlds for Jazzmaster players

Bought these to compare to Power Slinky's on my Jazzmaster.

With the vintage style floating tremolo system I was on the look out for strings that could provide the tension and tuning stability of .11's but with more flexibility on the higher strings for easier bends and lead playing.

Happy to report that these do the job perfectly.

Finally found my standard tuning set of strings!

Used to by the purple jazz set 11-49s to keep things tight but my fingers couldn't rock the leads that well, These have taken me a long time to find and though I prefer D'addario strings, this is the only set with this sweet spot of 10-48 that offers a fair tightness for rythem but also a bit of stretch for leads...In my opinion the perfect set for standard tuning, depending on taste and scale lengths etc which also plays a mega role in the feel of strings.

Solid quality

Nothing special. Basic Ernie Ball quality - which is good.

My choice for Standard D / Drop C

As good as any string but specifically picked these for the regular top end for easy bending while having added stability for the fast and hard metal stuff I like to play with 48 gauge bottom end.
