Best strings
Ernie ball just makes great strings for their price
Great price
It is not easy to find guitar strings for such a price down here
Thanks again
I use this to put my 6 string in B standard!
I wanted to put a fender scale 6 string in B standard and it works great!
If anyone wanted to try this, i can comfirm it works fine
Ernie ball quality is perfect as usual!
super
can't go wrong with these
Awesome strings!
I have been using different strings, but then I checked the String Theory from Ernie Ball where Stephen Carpenter was talking about the Ernie Ball strings for which I wanted to try.
So far the regular ones work well for my style and I highly recommend these for the 7-string owners if they want to play in the tunes of Korn, Deftones or Nevermore :)
My go to string!
What is there to say ?
They sound great , feel great and good price
Quality strings
Good value for money. I use this brand for all my guitars. Nothing to complain about.
Classic
Classic ernie ball reliability, good "projection" for a decently-long time after mounting the strings
Really good, especially for the price
Excellent quality strings, really low price for a 7-string pack.
Best in it's price range
Best strings in their price range. Period.
Great value
Can't go wrong with this price. Sound pretty good and keep the tone for a long time (or is it the Fast Fret and the Dr. Duck's Axe Oil?)
I like these strings
I use these strings for 7-string Drop A tunning, they sound pretty good, for recording or playing live, they also have some durability, about 3 weeks to 1 month with that sharp tone, depending on how much you play.
I recommend you buy some quality strings
I think this was my first experience with Ernie Ball. And unfortunately it was not a good one. I broke three of these strings in a one day (without using the floyd rose). All fresh out the package strings from 2 different packs.
They all broke at the tuner. I've never had a problem like this with other strings. And I can't blame the tuner either since it wasn't the same string everytime.
The strings don't sound bad and they feel rather nice too but they seem to break rather easily. The low price was alluring but next time I'll be smarter.
I Use this set only for Drop B tuning, i switch the 46 to 56,
and its amazing....
The best
Best strings out there consirning me.
Great sounding, and long lasting - I play 16 hours per week and they last for a month!
Verry good but its not lasts as Elixir
Use it on Harley benton SC-7
Excelent sound for its price but i prefer Elixir because they lasts more.
My favorite
Nothing can replace for me
Sound wise and quality wise highly recommended
My baseline strings
They're cheap, have a nice & bright RnR growl, and can last for a very long time if soaked regularly with Dunlop Formula65 String Cleaner (or possibly other brands).
For playing live, it is probably wiser to change them after every show, but of course YMMV.
I also really like the tension balance of the 7 string set with my 25.5' scale guitar in standard tuning - the B string feels just fine to me, although some might find it a bit too soft.
I didn't try this set with a 26.5' guitar, but taking my 8 string as a reference, I would expect the 0.10 high E to feel a bit shrill and would probably go for the lighter set.
Good as always
Classic Slinky. If you don't gig regularly these will last a long time.
standard 7 strings
I mostly use ernie ball, and only recently d'addario. I don't see much difference in the two, and ernie ball last forever, I never broke a string in years of playing. This set is a good starting point to evaluate your needs. If you are planning to use drop tunings, I would look into thicker gauges to increase the tension, or the strings would be too floppy oterwise.
