Amazing clarity and punch!

I've tried quite a few brands and different sets of strings and, to me, these are the best strings I've ever used.

The packaging clearly states the Cobalt's strength: OUTPUT & CLARITY.

Now, when I first saw this, I thought: "how can a type of string offer more output/volume? it makes no sense!"

But then I put a pack on one of my basses and there it was. It was LOUD and had perfect clarity.

Make no mistake: these strings are made to ROCK out. If you're the type of bass player that likes to sit in the background while playing some Motown/Soul basslines then these are not for you.

But if you want to get your slap-funk or your heavy riffs in someone's face then these are perfect.

And also, they will last long! The price tag may seem exaggerated but they're absolutely worth it.

Fell in love

I did not want to write the review for these string after the first time I bought them so after two months of having them on my bass I decided to buy them again, put them on and write the proper review! First time I put them on I was not surprised by the sound, but I had a cold so something was definitely wrong with my hearing because two days after that I was blown away by the sound. I play everyday and clean the string after every time I get my bass in hands so I consider string lasting for two months on my bass a long and great period, I think i should mention that I also like the sound of new string to create the image how this strings are great! There is something different in cobalt that makes these string sound punchy but with a plenty of frequencies that every bass player need to stand out in a mix. My highest recommendation, go and buy them!
