My absolute favourite bass strings

I play a Warwick Corvette $$. have used several brands, both standard wound and flatwounds. These Ernie Ball flatwounds are the absolute best, in my opinion. They produce a full funky sound and are the easiest and speediest to play for being flat. Fully recommend these bass strings.

Incredible sound!

I bought these strings just to try them out with my Gibson Thunderbird. Incredible, heavy, warm and accurate sound. I highly recommend them. The only problem is that they get dirty easily and it's very difficult to clean them

A bit too rough

I ordered these strings for my secondary bass, a Squier Affinity PJ Bass. On my main bass I have the Rotosound SH77 Steve Harris Signature strings. The Ernie Ball strings sound good and the quality is fine. However, the surface seems to less smooth than on the Rotosound strings. The Rotos cost only 2€ more, but are imho better sounding and are of better quality. Nonetheless, I can still recommend the Ernie Ball strings, if you can deal with them being a bit rougher.

LOVE THEM..!!

This product was purchased as an upgrade to the standard bass strings that were on my Fender P Bass. The sound is very rich and deep but also gorgeous to play. I would highly recommend them.
