Ernie ball strings are always the most reliable option for me, they tend to very long without wearing down/ snapping, plus they just feel/sound the best for me personally. They are at a great price as I would say they’re cheap enough for you try them out to see if you like them.

Regular Slinkies

Recently gone back to these after a while, been using Fender 250s, which were on a Strat I bought. I Iiked the Fender strings, but they seem to have really dipped in quality so I've being trying other brands. Liked the D'addario Xls, but bought some Regular Slinkys and then remembered why I've been using them since the 70s. They just do the job.

I have tried all sorts of strings during passed years (D'Adario, Elixir...). Last 10 years I use Ernie Ball regular slinky 0.10-0.46 because they have best price/quality ratio.

Bright, cristal clear, ringing sound. Durable (I like to band a lot and till now none of strings have been broken), good sustain. Strings for all kind of music or guitars. I use them for standar tuning, open G, drop D.... Very versatile. Well balanced on Telecaster, Stratocaster, ES335.

Classic for a reason

Nothing beats Ernie Ball in terms of quality to performance. The strings sound bright and full, slick and easy to play and will last a decent while if you take care of them (I use GHS Fast Fret to keep them clean).
