Awesome warm sound

When it came to change the strings to my acoustic i didn't know what to pick, so i decided to go with ernie ball as i really like them on my electric guitars. I was really impressed with sound!! The tone was so crystal, harmonic, mellow and warm!! The guitar was singing with them!! I'd totally recommend them!!

helder en sprankelend geluid

Ik ben fan van deze snaren, makkelijk te bespelen door de dikte en een mooi sprankelend en helder, maar ook vol geluid.

Great tone, great price

Quality from a name you can trust, they have plenty of life in them

Pretty good strings

I guess they sound very nice, but they're a little bit too grippy for my taste, you definitely wont be doing any smooth slides with these

A wonderful surprise

Previously I used DD strings on the acoustic .12 on the high-E. The acoustic is an old, somewhat scratched (I should tell "natural relic") piece of wood with a really annoying neck shape. The strings have a really warm sound on the basses and a brilliant tone on the unwounded B and E. Of course it can't make a Martin from my wood, but it def. changed the sound. I have the strings on the instrument just for a week so I can't evaluate their "life"

Pros

Very warm, bright, strings, really impressed

Cons

A little harder on fingers compared to other steel brands - same gauge.

Great sound, good lifespan too

I bought these to put on a Yamaha APX500II after a few years of using Martin M140 strings. I found them to sound very full and clear, particularly through the pickups in the Yamaha. The level of tension they provide suits the way I play, which is usually pretty hard being a metal guitarist over all else.

To me, they feel familiar, having mainly played electric guitar, but with a pleasing full sound that you really don't quite get with a clean electric guitar!

The strings show no corrosion or damage out the hermetically seal packaging, and were easy to put onto the guitar. They lasted a little longer than many other strings I tried, particularly given that I play fairly infrequently, leaving the strings open to more corrosion from the environment than wear on contact with my hands!

Overall a worthwhile buy, I'd consider them one of my top acoustic strings to purchase.

Less tension, no broken fingers, great tone !!

They are incredibly balanced strings. The harmonics are effortless and the overtones aren't bad at all, maybe just a little bit.

Playing fingerstyle with these strings are easy and sound very well.

I can play all day long and my fingers won't hurt. That is one of the main reasons I love them. Very nice choice !!!

I'm using these strings on my all-mahogany guitar. All in all 80/20 bronze strings liven up the all-hog guitars a bit. These ones are no exception. The slightly muted and compressed sound of all-hod is still there, but, to my ear, it becomes more full and better suited for fingerstyle playing.

Price/quality seem to be very good too. I can recommend these strings for checking out.

Good option!

I enjoy these strings very much. I own a Fender cd 60 ce and when I changed it´s original strings for these ones it became much more alive. A very rich and metallic sound that i love. not the cheapest out there but also not the priciest. A very good set for everybody. The only thumbs down is for me, i am a clumbsy guy and if you are (like me) not careful, the strings tend to get dirty i guess, with tiny darker stains it´s not rust and it´s easy to clean out with a proper product or even with a everyday use cloth.

Very nice strings with a great sound. I've played a lot of fingerstyle arrangement, and these strings really gives you a great feeling when you play with them. Because they are made of bronze, it gives you a nice tone. They last very long, of course it depends on how much you play and so, but compared to other strings I've played with, these strings last at least 30% much longer than the other strings.I've played these strings on a guitar with a smaller body, and the strings gave the guitar a large sound, even if the body was smaller.

Great tone

You really cant go wrong with Ernie Ball strings, and these are a great choice for when I'm playing a mix of finger-picking and strumming. Sound great through pickups, and hold their bright tone for a long time.
