Perfect

I like the tone and feeling while playing. I think I found the strings that are made for me.

Bright and beautiful

Just put them on so can't say much about durability but they feel awesome and sound really clear. Try them!

Perfect if you like lighter strings

These are great strings if you like your acoustic to have a lighter feel, closer to an electric.

These are my favourite acoustic strings

Great value, good price, good quality.

Earthwood Bronze is a good middle ground between all other kinds of acoustic strings - versatile, not "blingy" enough, not dim enough, just perfect for my needs.

They last for a reasonable time, and when they "die" - they still sound not flat out terrible after a while.

Reliable everyday product.

Warm, crisp and clear

Along with Martins and Elixers theses are definitely one of the best strings I've used. Gives a lovely warm tone and has a nice texture. I will definitely buy these strings again.

Ernie Ball

Initial Impression

This is my first new set of strings for an acoustic guitar. The packaging is nice, well labeled and easy to open.

Sound

The strings have a nice bright sound. The tone is quite metallic with good sustain. They are much brighter than the strings that were installed on the guitar from the factory. After the initial stretch they have stayed in tune very well.

Quality

The strings are well made(as you would expect from Ernie Ball)

Conclusion

I think it is too early to make a judgment on whether or not I like the sound. It is so drastically different from what I am used to hearing, part of me doesn't like it. But I am hoping it is because my old strings were "dead" and this is how strings should sound!

Crisp sound

these strings are great, tried pretty much all the other big brands for acoustic and this gauge and make are the best for me

lovely crisp tone that is warm when finger picked and bitey when strummed, can make a huge difference to cheap guitars and bring the life back into better ones.

great price and great results, smooth to play and not an awkward colour like d'addario.

last well too, havnt snapped a string even when they get older, as long as every so often they are wiped down as with any strings, the tone doesn't fade for a long time.

highly recommended

Best acoustic strings on the market

I have just installed these on my Epiphone acoustic and already it sounds much better than the stock strings that were used before.

Ernie balls have a much smoother feel on your fingers than a lot of other string manufacturers I have used.

Highly recommended!

Nice sounding strings

These are really nice sounding strings. Been using them on my cut-away Taka EG241 for more than 8 months now, without a single broken string. Gentle strings on the hands and sweet music for the soul ;)

Excellent bright tone

I love the sound of these Earthwood strings on my acoustic, they have a bright tone that lasts a long time, but is never too bright. Great tone for fingerpicking and work well with my piezo under-saddle pickup.
