Best Strings for me

Actually i was a little sceptic, when I first bought these Strings. I play a Gibson Studio in Drop-C , sometimes in Drop-A. The Sound of these strings is very good, i love it especially when they were pretty new on my guitar.

The strings can be played very well, they are neither too thick nor too thin. Even for Drop-A. I´m using these strings for about 7 years now and I wasn't disappointed at any time.

nice for standard C-tuning

I've been using these strings for quite a while now. They are perfect for superstrat guitars tuned down to C# or C. Sound is punchy and articulate. Great quality, too. These strings last for quite some time and don't break easily. I'll stick to these.

Really beefy!

I bought these to try a set with a really thick low-E string. I wasn't disappointed. It gives me that really beefy sound, as the name says, and makes those really heavy distortions sound even better.

They also lasted more than usual before loosing that bright tone of new strings.

Ernie Ball Beefy Slinky

Sound - Brilliant, vibrant sound when detuned e.g. drop D or drop C. Nice smooth and clean sounding strings

Quality - Strings maintain their tension after lots of use, with quality of string keeping its new feel through out

Total - Would recommend there strings for anyone who likes playing in unorthodox tuning setups, as they can handle the stress from multiple tunings and can keep their good tone throughout their life

I love these strings

Use these on my Artcore as103 and my telecaster.

Fat and responsive tone. I love it. Makes standard light and medium strings sound thin and weak by comparison.

They are however heavy which makes bending a bit tougher but thats the trade off. Still, bending gets easier once you've gotten used to the tension.

Also, I don't detune my guitar so I can say from years of experience they play great when using standard tuning as well.

The manufacturing quality is superb and I almost never break these strings (only when I don't change them for 3 or 4 weeks).

Do yourself a favor and buy them already!
