Good roundwound strings for Bass VI/Baritone instrument

I bought these strings for my 30" scale instrument, and I used these strings because they are the right choice if you have a fixed, NON-TREM bridge, because they are a little shorter than the D'Addario counterparts. D'Addarios are good if you have a guitar with a long trem, instead, because they are some inch longer than these Ernie Balls.

The tone is bright and full at the beginning, and it remains quite good and warm if you wish to keep those for some months. Tension is medium, but if you are willing to tune the .90 string in low E, for that Bass VI tuning, it will be a little floppy in my experience. But any .90 string tuned in low E will be like that in my opinion, so it's not a flaw of these strings I guess.

Great strings for the price

These strings would be ideal for a piccolo strung 6 string bass tuned a fourth higher then the standard tuning. I have tried them on a long scale 6 string bass and like the tension in standard tuning but it would probably not be to everybodys taste. Great sounding strings but only until the coating wears which is only a month or two of daily playing , they don't last nearly as long as standard steel strings do.
