Really great quality

Installed them ca. two months ago and don't regret a bit. During these two months bright sound haven't disappeared, no rust (maybe bcs I'm looking after my guitar pretty good). Btw, lasted a lot longer than the ones from Elixir XD.

They are Strings

If you like Ernie Ball strings, you are already here buying them. Eveeybody likes different strings, I like these, have used various gauges of them for years on all sorts of instruments and never had any problems. Adding to this - though I use these on a 7 string, I have put these on 6's too in various setups, so if you're looking to mix and match gauges for particular tunings it might be worth grabbing a set of these (or 8's) for some variety.

Nice strings

nice strings, condition was good. this specific set of six 7 string 0.58-0.11's work well with my 7 string LTD tunedto drop G, and they are still thin enough to feel natural. well balanced for lower 7 string tunings.

Best value for money

Not so much to add, they are cheap, they sound and they last.

They come in a wide variety of thicknesses and they provide a nice steady sound, as I have experienced other brands having nice bright sounds in the fist days and then becoming dull noticeably.

Losing my religion

I've been a lifelong D'Addario user, but these strings have converted me. I'm now glad to be in the Ernie Ball camp, these strings just feel amazing and sound so much better. These power slinkies are just perfect for my recently acquired 7 string guitar.

Best I've had

Long story made short I wouldn't change these strings for anything in the world, I mean I've always been an ernie ball fan in fact I use ernie ball on all my basses and guitars. I just simply love the sound and feel of them compared to other products.

They are very smooth and sound very bright, and when it comes to riffing they pack quite a punch as well ;)

Solid Strings for Baritone

Opted for these for my new 7 string baritone. I must say i'm genuinely surprised with the quality, especially on baritone scale. The added neck length makes sure that these strings are even brighter than usual. I'm truly a bass player and playing on drop A tuning, and these strings have enough low end on the lower strings with the good amount of tension and twang, which is why i would always choose Ernie Balls. Reccomended

Great price for good quality

Our guitarist just uses this strings for his 7-string-guitar. They have a really good sound for a good price. There is nothing to complain about, Ernie Ball always makes great products.

Great sound / longevity AND works with Schaller M6 locking tuners!

I have spent a considerable amount of time looking for the beefiest set of baritone strings that will be accommodated by my Schaller M6 Locking Tuners on my Ibanez baritone. As the majority of manufacturers tend to avoid the .058 gauge, the Ernie Ball 7-String Power Slinky does the job nicely because the .058 is the thickest gauge of string accepted by the Schaller M6s - which have an eyelet size of 1.5mm (.059")

The strings themselves are great to play and have a really nice twang to them that I was missing from the previous set of cobalts that I had placed on my guitar.

Loss of one star because it's not packed with an alternative wound G, which I feel could be offered at this price point and to match competitors like Dean Markley.

Great strings

This seven string set of Ernie Ball are made in the USA and are used by many famous or infmous guitar-playes, today they are still my favourite brand of guitar strings as they are not very expensive, but last a long time and also stay in tune for a long time.

The sounds i bright, with a thight and controlled bottom end that makes your guitars shine and get all the presence you need to be upfront and get the focus on it. Especially for Rock and Metal Music, where you want your guitars with lots of bite and and presence, there is nothing worser then a set of dead and dul sounding strings, to avoid this, you should try out those strings

7 String Slinkies

Although these strings are 11's, they are easy to bend, but the thickness yields a fuller tone. I use these on an Ibanez S 7-string in: Drop A, B standard, Bb standard. They are still tight enough to play at speed with lower tunings.

Personally, I wouldn't tune the lowest string below A, as I prefer tighter strings when playing fast.

The strings are still in good condition after a couple of months of using them.

However, these strings won't give you a bright tone after the first few days.
