Nothing spectecular but still quite good.

These were the first Ernie Ball strings i got and I'm still a bit undecided on how i liked them. While playing in the band they sounded great and really punchy. Playing solo...i kind of missed the top end a bit in comparison to other strings I've tried (DRs or Coccos). All in all they were satisfying, yet they didnt last very long.

My favourites

These are my standard roundwound strings. They sound very balanced to my taste and they feel good on the fingers. I like the hybrid factor as I find 100% steel strings too bright and 100% nickel strings too mellow.

Good but

The welded package is unique and well-known for Earnie Ball. The strings don't have any wiring with cloth, at the end they have golden ball-ends. Strung onto the bass you have much highs in the first hours of playing. The next day you have a different sound, it is more middle-driven with less highs than expected.
