Ernie Ball Paradigm Super Slinky 09-42 5-stars Reviews
Awesome!
They sound "fresh" for a long time, they don't lose their stability, and they are unbreakable. What more to ask? Well worth the extra cost, if you ask me!
Great strings but
Bought them as a possible alternative to my favorite coated strings and although I found them to be great sounding and rust free strings, by changing tuning frequently I've noticed they tended to snap quite frequently.
The best strings I ever played
Very good quality strings, easy to bend and great durability.
Top strings
My favorites for my Strats
Best strings I've had
Coming for several strings from other brands, these are really good, bright with a lot of sustain, and so far seem to last as well. Using them on a Les Paul, and it seems to go out of tune less than before (still does though...).
killer sound
They are for sure among the best sounding strings that I have ever used . As far as durability is concerned , I want to say that the d string snapped after a couple of weeks but I guees that one is on me due to the heavy duty that I put my guitar through . The overall image is for sure really positive .
Excellent strings.
These strings may appear to be expensive when you first look at them. However, I have used them on a Fender Stratocaster and a Fender Telecaster with very good results. There is a wonderful tone and very good sustain from them. They are the usual high standard from Ernie Ball.
excellent strings
Less bright than elixir, last somewhere in between uncoated and elixirs. They are bendier and feel at least half a gauge lighter than they really are - easier to play. The tone is, again, in between uncoated and bright elixirs. A very good mid-point.
Best Electric Strings on The Market
If you like Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings, then you'll absolutely love these. Guaranteed not to break with a 3 months warranty, these strings are a no brainer for Ernie Ball customers, and should be on other brands customers 'must try' list, because I guarantee you'll convert.
The reason I loved Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings was they seemed to have a 'snap' that no other string brand gave you. Being predominantly a Strat player that snap is an important part of the tone. I've tried most other brands throughout my 40 years of playing guitar, and I always end up buying the same strings. Until now that is.
The Paradigm strings still give me all the qualities I love about Super Slinky's, but a bit extra as well. They feel more 'spanky', without the 'tinny' sound you get from new strings and are better to play as soon as you put them on.
The coating gives them a much better playability than the Slinky's and aids fast runs up and down the fretboard.
But the thing I really love about them is how quickly they settle into tuning. After putting a new set of strings on I always played them in for about an hour or so before using them on stage, just to help them settle and stop them from going out of tune as much. With the Paradigm's there's no need to do that. Just put them on, stretch them, and you're good to go, they settle so quickly.
Top all that off with just how durable they are and you're onto a winner.
I changed my strings every 2 weeks tops before using the Paradigm's. I now change them every 2 months, so they're saving me money as well.
Like the title says, best strings on the market right now, bar none.
